Mir Corrup and imperial architecture

The base game presented us with two architectures (Second Empire and Nibenese). I find them interesting but I understand that in future Chapters/DLCs we will not see them again (except Kvatch visible from the top of a hill, Istirus estate/fort/outpost and Drad Estate).

Blackwood presented us with a new imperial style. Infrastructures (I'm not talking about houses) are those seen throughout Cyrodiil in TES IV. So there is no doubt that we will see the same walls and forts again in Colovia and Nibenay.
For the houses I don't know. I think we will see the same Blackwood houses again in Nibenay only. I say this because they are visible around Fort Sundercliff.

Skingrad will have its already unique style in TES IV. Sutch will surely have the same visual and I wonder if the forts of Colovia will have the same walls as Skingrad or those of Blackwood which is generic to all Cyrodiil in TES IV. If this is Skingrad's style, it would reinforce the authenticity of Colovia.

Well. Mir Corup. I think all of Nibenay will be similar to Blackwood. Everything except Mir Corrup. At least that's what I hope.
Mir Corrup is a spa town of the Nibenese nobility.
This would be the unique opportunity for ZOS to represent the city as a Roman city. What is not possible with the other cities because of their feudal appearance in TES IV.
I have two examples: the classic Rome. Or the spa town of Cemenelum (roman colony in Alpes Maritimae)

Colovia will be more likely to appear before Nibenay. Because we haven't had Colovia since 2016 and we had Nibenay in 2021. But I submit this idea now.

Interesting post. On a slight tangent, it'll be interesting to see what they do with Nibenay, if/when we get to it. Because of limitations, TESIV presented Nibenay as largely empty. Very few cities or towns.

I hope that zos has the insight to give a more populated Niben.

ZOS can make Nibenay a Q4 DLC or a Chapter. I'm having trouble determining the size of the area. Knowing that the western part with Bravil cut by the Niben will certainly not be included.

Mir Corrup would then be the capital city of Nibenay. Sundercliff village was mentioned in the loading screen description for Fort Sundercliff. I hope we can visit the site of the fort, there are small houses (Blackwood style) on a hill with a winding road that I really enjoyed observing.

I don't know if another city will be included. In which case I do not know this colony.

TES IV removed the city of Sutch in Colovia. What is subject today to several imaginations.
It is certain that ESO will offer us this colony. I also hope Sarchal but in reality where are the imperial colonies that we discover in Endless Stair and Forsaken Citadel (I have the impression that it is one and the same city but cut in two. You have steps going up to a cut area. Maybe driving up a hill with a lake. A border area? The stairs would lead us to where the final fight of the Coldharbour quests takes place).

Nice seeing someone else think of Mir Corrup!

I've wanted it to be added for ages, and it would be such a great contribution for the Nibenay along the east side. It has really bothered me how lacking the Nibenay is in cities and small towns when it's considered to be the more populated area of Cyrodiil. As much as I like TES IV, it did portray Cyrodiil and imperials quite badly, which ZOS did not improve in ESO, not even Leyawiin with Blackwood, they just went for nostalgia and gave all the issues an updated look.

Mir Corrup could be a saving to portray Nibenay well, both in culture, society, architecture etc.
Better architecture is definitely needed and seeing something taking a lot more inspiration from the Roman, Mediterranean (Not you, High Isle) aesthetic would be great.

Yeah, Bravil is ruined in ESO's timeline. Though if they wanted to feature it as an adventure locale, or have it restored to some degree, I feel like they could have it on the western edge and still block access into contested Cyrodiil.

As to what size the zone might be, its hard to say because scale is not fixed and varies with each zone.

Sutch is an interesting opportunity but at the same time a bit redundant given that Rihad is right across the river border in Hammerfell. ZOS kinda messed up here because had they made the PVP zones slightly smaller and excluded Chorrol it could've been the hub for a vast Colovian expansion considering the expanse between Elinhir and Rihad.

But theres another shame Elinhir had so much potential as a Nedic settlement but was wasted as a mini-dungeon.

If they make Mir Corrup in what's left of Nibenay they'll most likely make a new architecture set for the area.

For what's left of Colovia i'd imagine they'd do what they did with Blackwood so Skingrad and Sutch with share architecture with the forts sharing the castle and walls architecture of the zone. From memory of ESO stuff Sutch is an active settlement.

Sutch isn't redundant as it would be the minor settlement like Gideon and Morthal of the chapter zone. Rihad is better saved for a Hammerfell zone.
