Allow attuning "attuned" crafting tables to other tables of their kind

With every addon or overland DLC that introduces new areas 3 crafting stations are added. We do currently have 71 of those stations scattered around Tamriel. Each of those crafting stations allows to attune 4 different tables (smith, tailoring, woodworking and jewel crafting) which in total make up of 284 tables one can currently put into houses. If this trend continues then only ESO+ players can effectively house all of those crafting tables in the same house as non-paying players simply do not have enough storage space available then even for the largest houses in game.

These tables also occupy quite a notable area of a house and usually also require additional stuff to build around i.e. to flatten the area where the tables are placed, like in the picture below where the ground is litterally curvy and does not allow to place tables easily. Sure, there are a couple of houses that are more suitable to place all those tables but they also lack a bit of charm.

In order to reduce this clutter of tables, could we have an option to attune those "attuned" tables to i.e. the tables you can buy for 35 vouchers and currently serves no other purpose? Every 'n' attuned tables, where 'n' is the number of tables that got attuned to the target one, the skin of that table could be made a bit more fancy to indicate that it got "updated", like with trained horses i.e. On interacting with the table you can select the set you want to craft simply by moving the slider left or right, like with motifs i.e., or yet better provide a dropdown or typeahead that reduces the offered choices while typing parts of the sets name.

This should free up lots of housing space players can actually use to decorate their homes and provide a further incentive to collect those tables over time.

I agree. This should be like that. I mean there should be four master station where you feed the attunable stations to it. So with that system with only four crafting station you can craft all different craft sets.

I just wish zos would comment on this, I know 2 people who want to make guild houses but hesitate because they predict a new system.
#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

I'm sort of in the same boat right now.

I'm in the process of building mine out here and there, but I'm always iffy on whether I want to keep going or not. If we had consolidated attuned crafting stations, I wouldn't even be building in Doomchar where it's currently at. I have 3 other houses already built out that I'd much rather use.

I think this would also breath a lot of life into master writs. Right now, pretty much only guild halls do this. I have thousands of writ vouchers that are just sitting there. Would love all the stations in my house, but its an aesthetic deal breaker. Allow me to use vouchers in a reasonable way to do this with 4 stations, and I immediately use all the ones I have and likely start aggressively farming more. I think it would be very good for the economy as a whole.

Support. We need attuned master machines for crafting. The only downside is that addons for masterwrit will not be auto-crafting

Collecting all crafting tables will cost you at least 71000 writ vouchers. Depending on how many alts you have, with trained professions and learned traits as well as unlocked motifs, where you do crafting dailies each day, this can actually take ages. Sure, you can also buy those master writs or the attunable tables directly form guild vendors, but they are usually also a bit pricy. I.e. last time I checked on attunable tables at guild vendors they sold for roughly 300k+. I am sure prices have gone up since.

I also started with like 15k collected vouchers and thought 'ah I will have the remaining ones easily'. The truth is, I have yet to collect the last couple tables and my house is already at 700/700 and I need to remove stuff now one by one to replace them with those tables. The sad thing here is, the house almost feels sparsely furnished. Not sue what ZOS's idea behind all of that is.

And no, I'm not collecting them for a particular guild. While I do have 3 private guilds, mostly for storage purposes, there is literally only me actively playing. The other guilds I am in have actually already a couple of players with all crafting tables in it. So I wouldn't really need to collect those, but I also don't like to be depenant on others and therefore decided to collect them on my own.

At this point, they really should just create a master station similar to the transmute station where you can just go into a menus (the same way you reconstruct dropped gear in your collection) and just select your crafted set that way and do it all at one station.

Let players use the attuned stations they have to add them into this master station to store it. (This also keeps a need to buy attunement stations in the future)

I've had discussions with friends in the past, but eventually (and it won't be that long) we'll run out of spaces to hold them all. As it is, you can only really do so with notable homes and with ESO Plus being the only option in the near-future. Something like @xaraan's suggestion for a "master" station, like a container of sorts, of each type would reduce overall clutter and make it much easier to find what you're looking for. It would also potentially mean that just about any home could be set up as a crafting area. An interface which would then allow you to pick the set you want to craft if the appropriate attunable station is held within.
