A bug report doesn't require an immediate resolution, especially when it's as trivial as this (a junk quest reward being bugged). This doesn't require a thread bashing customer service, which is pretty damn great in this game.

I think you missed the point of my board, if you deduced that this was a bash thread, since I explicitly said that if anyone else has this issue, they are likely to encounter the same customer service resolution of yet another bugged item. And why are you being condescending to me, how is it trivial that with a story driven DLC with glitched items, not to mention the current glitched quests, to make reports of the bugs is trivial? We can agree to disagree and we don't have to condescend each other.

Reporting bugs is fine. But making a thread about something trivial like this not being resolved is silly. Hell, there is a bug report section on the forums specifically for posts like this.

This post isn't really reporting any bugs, it's only telling a story. Quite funny one at that, and it just so happens to be about the customer service.

I think the most important question I have here is... can someone make an addon that manipulates the CP level of dropped items?

If so get me some CP810 Monster Helms please.

Unrelated: how can you have so many character slots - isn't 15 the max? The addon is showing you it's researchable for dozens of alts.

im gonna be perfectly honest here the fact someone talked to you means you got more support than most people ever do. When delves got redesigned a few years ago my main got a bug where collecting skyshards in stonefalls would not check them off the zone achievement list. Needless to say the char was no longer my achieve guy when i couldnt complete simple achieves like collecting skyshards, in 3 years of sending tickets in for this i have never once spoken to zos customer service, not even one time. The closest i got was passing ticket on to escalate the issue with no response after ticket closed

Addons can track across multiple accounts. OP probably has a few.

This is a mix of my currents, old alts I’ve deleted, and some of my husbands characters from when he logged in on my laptop and the addon saved their names for some reason, I only have the one account and a EU account.

I also got a level 50 Rootmender staff after finishing the quest, and I'm on Xbox. I think it's a bug within the DLC or something...

Seems this bug is still around in High Isle, I was just "rewarded" two level 50 gear items (one a blue weapon I could use) with no CP value.

I totally understand your experience with customer service and can relate 1000%.

The good news is though, just to look at the bright side, once you've deconned the item, you can reconstruct it, at a relatively small cost, at the level you want it to be.

So, you can get past this and get the item at the level you want WITHOUT dealing with ZOS.

Customer service and customer appreciation/recognition just isn't a strong point for ZOS.

I have never had a bad experience with this games customer service they have been the best of the best, they are amazing.

Looks lile the code for the drop itself os wrong judging by the replies of whos gotten the wrong item lv. Would explain why they reissued it wrong as the item itself is bugged. I suggest everyone report this in game in theu still have their staff.
