Autoplaying Cards

If you hit ESC during a match you'll notice a checkbox option to 'autoplay cards'. I decided to try this out since it wasn't exactly clear what it would do, and I actually quite like it. Basically, it will automatically play any basic resource cards or other simple cards that don't require any thought or choice. This cuts down on unnecessary clicking and allows you to more easily focus on the cards that actually require some thought (if any). As far as I can tell, there isn't really any downside to having this feature enabled, but part of the reason I'm posting this is to ask if I'm missing something. Thoughts?

Yes. there is a downside to instantly auto playing:

    - Duke patron uses all your gold
    - There are ways to use patron multiple times
As such, you can turn Duke from unfavored to favored only if you have card still left to play.

    - By using certain deck-specific resource cards you can trigger undesirable at the moment combo effects of other cards, like acquire card before you do any swaps at tavern

    - Auto Fortify can knock out enemy taunting agent, which you were planning to use next turn to turn Celarus

I think as well that spending all the gold cards at the beginning of a turn is eventually not that good. Especially not when playing with a lot of combos with Celarius cards, where you manipulate the tavern quite a lot and you might need that gold to acquire cards before changing the tavern again (with multiple celarius cards and decent duke combos you can play a large amount of cards in a turn in the later game) - and your gold goes up and down during the turn - I would not want that to be wasted, just because there is no gold left to act on opportunities within a dynamic turn.
