Sadly so many cop out in this EXP :(

Deathleecher
I played most of the story quests for the new exp.

There are so many moment that could have been amazing, really great. But they do so many cop out.

Let me just give you two examples.

1. In this EXP you use a boat very often, but you never see you sail , its just like a teleport. (A old game like WOW, can show a boat sailing)
2. There is a point where you need to use a ballista. This sounds so amazing and your ready to shoot. But no no , you dont get to use it, but the NPC. Again i have to say, a OLD game like wow, has this.

I feels like many of the "cool" "Hype" moments are destoryed with cop outs.

I still like the EXP, but damn it could have been so much better.

You get to use a ballista in a previous questline, so that seems strange.

Most likely this is because they had limited resources for reasons only they know. We might guess. Perhaps it's because a lot of resources went into the card game, or a big part of the team is focused on something else ESO or non-ESO related.

My feeling with this expansion is the same "oh, it could have been so much more". But first of all, and this might seem silly, the moldy walls everywhere really make me want to play something else. Feedback in this matter was ignored. Second, I am surprised to see so few people in High Isle, at world bosses and vents, comparing to other releases when all these areas were overcrowded. That's what happens when you put a minigame like the card game inside a MMO. The world gets depopulated.

Yes, I was also hoping to be able to steer a boat this expansion. Such a missed opportunity. No pirate action, even though we could have used the grappling hook mechanics from Elsweyr, no swimming or underwater action, just same old, is disappointing.

I wanted to revisit the Breton theme, but so far, this has so little flavor that I am not sure I will continue playing like in the past years.

The zone being quiet has nothing to do with the card game.

    Everyone is in Murkmire!

Same thing with Blackwood being empty on release.

    They were all in Shadowfen.

    ZOS's rinse and repeat MO.

I was running around in the world exploring, i saw 3-4 people. When i was stading at a worldboss i had to wait 10min and we were 5 people.

    The zone feels semi dead.

If it wasent for the story, i would have been bored.

I find it so hard believe that ESO is still stuck in the same way, as it was at release.

Every quest is the same, go to person talk or kill X. No new mechanics.

I also feel it got quite boring to kill the same mobs over and over again and they had no challenge, imean i was face rolling evey mob in this exp.

Agree, think both Sumerset and Elsweyr. And obvious the Cyrodil siege training quest.
Its also an Greenshade quest there you shoot at an sea serpent but its no aiming.

An easy way to make killing an large enemy more immersive.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
