... to put an end to this fiasco. People losing their mind over this lead. Toxicity is at an all-time high. Farming for mythics should be fun, but everyoneis getting more and more frustrated here.

It's time to step up, communicate and do something about this mess!

Just keep the drop rate and have it drop from all looted (stolen) containers in Mirkmire if that was their intention, would suffice IMO.

Why still keep the fiasco of camping/trolling if you could just add it to the tables there. Even allowing it to drop from a pickpocket of hard and above would suffice.

Adjusting 2 numbers in their code compared to adjusting the lootables of several different sources sounds like an easier task to me. But I'm fine with anything that solves the situation.

Right near Alten Meerhleel point of interest (an eye symbol on the map), there is a safebox inside a little hut. That one is on a 5 minute timer. You are welcome.

You all understand, that the DLC launched TWO DAYS ago, and all the people on here complaining about the lead are people that are just rushing to get the new shiny on day 1 right? Thats not something ZOS needs to care about. They need to concentrate on fixing bugs not trying to "fix" your OCD. And using "But da zone chat is so toxic" is a terrible excuse, do people not pay attention to Zone chat in other area's of the game, its toxic year round. ZOS is not gonna fix something that they didn't break, so just drop it?

Hi All, we are working on clarifying this issue with the Dev team. We probably won't have an answer until tomorrow. The team has been chatting about this throughout the day, hence the delay in response. So please hang tight while we work through this.

Lastly, please do not jump on each other here please. We understand the frustration, but it isn't helpful for anyone involved. The last thing we want is for moderations to have to constantly snip or remove comments.

I'm pretty sure that they are going to fix it.

I mean, the question was can the lead be looted by the Picker or just someone else opening the safebox. And the reply was to that question. Kevin wasn't saying "Yea, the lead is a problem, we are gonna fix it". Just simply telling the OP they are not sure if the lead can be looted in a certain way

Ah, so they also shouldn't care about it while yesterday the toxicity was even leading to one player first trolling everyone in chat (for the fun of it) and then moments later he literally announced to go for a damn school shooting for everyone to remember him, after the whole zone went on bullying said troll? When I have seen this when I played with my wife yesterday, we were shocked Within 12 hours of trying to get the lead, we were reporting more players than looting safeboxes. This is not the usual toxicity man. People literally lose their mind about this lead.

If I was a dev with the possibility to solve this problem and to help calm the situation, then i go for it! Bug or not. Simple as that.

They wouldn't have said that if it was just that. There's already video answering that question and it wouldn't take a full day. They are gonna do something about this, at least that's how I read that. I don't see why it would take them all day to not fix it.

No, trolls are being trolls. They are saying things in Zone for the shock factor, for you to have the exact reaction that you did, it gives them some kind of...idk sick satisfaction. Zone chat has always and will always be toxic, whether its political, current events etc. I've seen people make fun of school shootings, straight out racism, sexual remarks that would make a BDSM blush. All it is are a bunch of sad...very sad..individuals who see a place where 1. ALOT of people are around and can see zone chat and 2. Where people have some frustrations. So they just swoop in, make some shock comments, or false statements and just watch the reactions roll in. The second someone in Zone chat says something thats not related to a game question or just general chat they get blocked by me. Thats the one simple method to avoiding all this. You ignore them, make it so they can't speak to you, and you move on. That is the #1 way to troll a troll, so to speak. Cause if they change something in game cause "Zone chat is super toxic and people are mad" then what precedent does that set? "Oh this armor set is way to hard to get so I'm gonna type in zone how mad it makes me and how I'm gonna *snip* a *snip* cause I'm so mad"

But I didn't come here for debate, if ZOS feels the lead is causing trouble then I'm sure they will do something, or they won't either way in a couple weeks this will all be a fading memory *shrug*
