Emote Wheel (doesn't remember last visited section)

Hello,
I'd just like to say that the emote wheel is a nice addition to the game.
My post here concerns the use of the emote wheel. I've noticed that the emote wheel does not stay at your last visited section (Mementos/Allies/Emotes etc), instead it brings you back to the first section of the emote wheel.
Is there a possibility to have it remember the last section opened and to stay in that section? Sometimes when you want to emote, you'll use several emotes or want to remain just in that section or vice versa.

✭✭✭✭✭Is this a bug? I thought it was a feature...
I know we can still put things like assistants/mementos etc. in the main wheel so we can still use those frequently. However, there are times that you need/want to just bring up something quickly but need to be on the main bar - like if you want to show off emotes or mementos in a trial lobby or while you're waiting for a WB to spawn, and then you start fighting and you need to get your potions back while combat is raging. I know several times I've been in a deadlands portal and the boss comes up halfway through my memento or I run past a WB while antiquity hunting. It is really convenient that it goes back to the main wheel after you use it.
