As most players I'm completely new to the card game, so I still take some time to decide what to do and I'm still trying to learn it. I think that I might enjoy the game, but as it is now it's hateful. I can't finish most games because I'm constantly removed from the game. Somehow the server doesn't understand that I'm playing and thinks that I'm idle. It's pathetic, really pathetic. They shouldn't ever bring a slow card game to ESO if we can't stay idle paying it for 2 minutes, or at least just put a damn timer on the game instead of just remove us in the middle of the games. As usual feels like the game wasn't even tested before the release date.

There is a time limit to your turn against players. I think there isn’t when you play against npc. I would suggest playing a couple of games against npc to get the hang of it.

I never played any game with other player yet. I'm just playing with npcs for now, while learning. The problem is that if I don't play fast I'm removed from the game to the login menu and then I need to wait a few minutes to login again.

That is definitely not normal. How long are you idle for? It should be at least 5 minutes before any sort of afk kick and I've never seen one there. You could probably left mouse click around the screen a bit if you are taking an extremely long time. If it's booting you consistently before 5 minutes, there may be another issue as that's not intended.

Way less than that. Between 1 to 2 minutes. But I'm playing faster now and that problem stopped. Anyway it was disappointing during the first games.

Ofc like everything with zos.. Lack of options. Why not players let choose timer as some form of dificulty modifier..
Same things all over, like with AWA..
Zos needs to understand that life is in options

ZOS is announcing Tales of Tribute as "fast-paced and competitive" - so that timer is very likely to stay, because it is intended design to limit the time you have figuring out your best sequence of actions. I think you have to be mindful about your opponents time as well, if he is real person - that game should be exciting for him/her as well and not bore them to steep.

Considering all the problems with the servers after the patch I wouldn't be so sure this is an intended feature.

I've had a similar thing happen when reading crafting motifs. I buy a bunch from my guild store then start working through them. I like to actually read the text and I'm not a fast reader so I'm only clicking a couple of times a minute to open a new motif, or on the rare occasions one has more than one page. It's fairly common that after 5 or so I get kicked to the login screen and have to wait a minute before logging in again. (When I remember I'll run in a circle or go out and back into the bank every so often, but I only buy batches of motifs once every month or two so I don't always remember.)

I doubt anyone would claim that's a deliberate feature ZOS built in because they don't want players to read too many motifs in a row. It seems much more likely it's the general purpose inactivity timer not picking up on the fact that you are actually doing something, it just doesn't involve moving.

Meanwhile I already played many card games against other players and never got removed from the game in this ones. But when playing with npcs I still get removed sometimes. Interesting. But it would be worse if was happening while playing with other players.
