High Isle start?
Did i do something wrong, but did the "High Isle exp" start, by teleporting to the waypoint on the island :S?
I was really hoping i would be on a ship and sail here, to feel the danger you saw in the cinematic.

That doesn't stop them making us get companions by doing their starting quests or doing antiquities intro or ToT intro 18 times per accountGM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

True, iknow it from wow, kinda boring to do the same twice. But you could make it "Skip" on ALTs
Right now, when i teleport to a new island, i have no feeling of an island. The feeling is not there at all.0 -
I didn't create a new toon while we had access to the live servers so I used a Wayshrine in Blackwood to transport. While testing it on the PTS I went through the Tutorial again with a new toon and when you get to the portal choice room there is now one to High Isle and you end up near the same Wayshrine. So no dramatic entrance on this one although the video that plays when you use the portal is very well done IMO.0

That's their fault for having 36+ characters, not ZOS.1 -
To trigger the Video you must play through the Tutorial again. When you get to the room with all the portal choices there is now one to High Isle. When you step into it a Video plays while sending you to High Isle. If you skip the tutorial you don't get any of this. Can only be done on a new toon of course.0

GoldenGirl✭✭✭I was bummed to find that there isn't a new starting tutorial (not that I need a tutorial, of course)... I enjoy starting a new toon for each new expansion and building them from the ground up, so to speak. I understand the benefit of reusing the Isle of Balfiera tutorial and just adding an another portal but it's still just a bit disappointing.Edited by GoldenGirl on June 6, 2022 11:30PM0

They said when they created the Isle of Balfiera tutorial that that would be the beginning for all new characters going forward, and they would no longer be creating new starts for every chapter. So we'll be spending a lot of time in the Keywright's Gallery with Norianwe.
I wish we could go back and experience the others again - just alter the combat tutorial part and they could be included as optional intro quests for the chapters.PC NA, CP2500+. Character creation is the true endgame.0
