Yeah, screw the non ESO+ members. They can just do without compensation

If they were to be so generous as to offer up the daily login reward to those that missed it, why should it only be ESO+ members that qualify?

Well EU players can log in.
    Its an surprise mechanic.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    I agree
  • rcourtney524_ESO
My fault I thought that was just something ESO Plus got. Everyone should get a day added.

For starters, ESO+ players pay for a subscription, while non-ESO+ players do not.
If I'm the Vestige destined to save Tamriel, what are y'all doing here?

And their reward for paying this subscription is the crafting bag, boost to research speed, exp and gold gain, access to hundreds of hours of game content, exclusive Crown Store discount and 1650 Crowns each month. It is unnecessary and honestly, bordering on malicious to deny non subscribers fair compensation when they are no better off than the ESO+ players.

The answer is that subscriptions bring in significantly more regular revenue than DLC sales provide even if someone buys all the DLCs published in a given year.

If the daily log in rewards were an ESO+ exclusive perk, I'd agree with you, but as those particular rewards don't exclude any players, I don't think that compensation of them should either.

Now if there were to be a suggestion that they add a day of ESO+ to current subscribers, I wouldn't suggest that non subs also get 1 free day as that would be ESO+ specific perks.

But they bought the game just the same.
I can see people arguing for an extra day being added to active ESO+ subscriptions and not nonpaying players, but the login rewards are meant for everybody.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

Nope. They've never given compensation when maintenance is extended, so you're just out of luck, especially now that it's been extended to 9pm EDT. That's usually why I can never finish an entire month.

My only "beef" is that I will have to adjust my riding lessons on all five of my new chars 'til I get them back down to first thing in the morning... ;)

Login rewards are part of the base game and your argument reeks of classism.

Imagine buying the game with no access.
