Launch days are always bad for pretty much every MMO ever. Also lately ESO has had regular delays on REGULAR Maintenance. People should stop expecting things to go smoothly, stop taking launch days off, you'll just work yourself up on something that is destined to happen.

The first statement is pretty much not true other than the actual first launch day of the game ever. Accepting mediocrity and being an apologist for it are pretty sad.

Hiding Flaps - not so easy since they tied most flaps to the chestpiece. Maybe they need to start making each chest with flap and without flap - like Robes / Jerkins
But at this point that would probably be a LOTTTTTT of work.

I am giving this company hundreds of my hard earned dollars to enjoy their service. I will not simply roll over and "accept" that "these things happen." A massive half a billion dollar corporation needs to be held accountable to a higher degree of standards than that.
Especially on a highly significant event like the launch day of new expansion content.
Zos could just shut down ESO tomorrow and would owe you nothing, yeah it would suck but that's the short of it.

I mean, sure, they could - but the blowback on that would be pretty significant, plus it would kill what is probably one of their largest revenue streams (if not their largest - gaming wise anyway). On top of that, their customers would go find other games to spend their hard earned money.
Yeah, they could shut it down, but ZOS needs their customers far more than their customers need ZOS. People would do good to remember that.

Yeah I don't disagree, and you bring up a good point, revenue is key. The Players aren't really the customers, otherwise they would be held accountable to us, rather the Producer is, who is at this point Microsoft. You are the Product, in both money coming in and player Engagement. We can ask and ask all day long and nothing will often come of it, but the big wigs at Microsoft or whoever that does Pay Zos, they will make changes immediately.
I have a feeling that even if that were to happen, I think alot of players would maybe be angry for a while and, if ESO 2 was announced, all would be forgiven.

Again not true. We pay Zenimax for a service. That service is being able to play in their game. ESO is the product, we are the consumer. Just because we can't hold them accountable doesn't make us any less of a customer.

The hide shoulder option is actually already in the game. It's been on a few live streams where they were showing off armor, but it's exclusive to the developers.
Oh good lord. I hope they give this to the players. Thanks for the post, I didn't know this.
