Armory question

If the armory wasn't so confusing to me and the race/name change scroll wasn't so expensive I would just try this. Here goes:

Banekin are now apparently going to be better Necro tanks than my orc. But I like my orc.

Has anyone ever tried saving a character build in the armory and then, using the same class, save another build with a different race and name, in a different armory slot?

I'm not sure I understand the question, but... I have saved a character build in the armory, changed the name and race of that character, and then reloaded the build. The build loaded fine, the race and name remained in it's new, changed state. It did not revert back to the race and name under which I'd originally saved it.

Armory slots are per character. If you mean, save an armory slot, then use a race/name change token, then load the old armory slot, I don't know. I imagine it would load and give you the new race's passives instead, since that's the only actual change.

If you're on PC you could test it on PTS without spending any money/crowns.

Thank you. I'm on Xbox. Anybody on PC and the pts willing to try it?

And yes, I meant to convey doing all this on the same character slot. I do not understand how to use the darn thing. My I am have read about it and had it explained to me by multiple people. No luck.

This is an interesting question. If I get a chance I will log onto pts later today.

I figure it be like the time they fixed the Champion Points from overstacking, any characters with changes will simply refund those points. So in the case of a race change, any points spent in racial passives will be treated as if they were never spent.

Yup, just tested and this is correct. All the other points stay, the racial points are refunded.
