How many pets do you have in each category?
I currently have:
8 Daedric
30 Flying Pets
109 Exotic
34 Domestic
181 Total
It is cumbersome to look for a specific pet when you don't remember what it's called, particularly in the Exotic category. I really wish they would change pets to be divided the way mounts are divided (canine, feline, etc.) or something similar.
Your thought? How should non-combat pets be divided in the collections menu?

✭✭✭✭✭If you're on PC check out IsJusta Favorite Collectibles. It adds favourites categories to a lot of collectibles, including pets, which makes it much easier to find the ones you use often.
By default it's account-wide, so you have the same favourites on all characters, but that's easy to change by opening the .lua file, finding the line "local AccountWideSavedVars = ZO_SavedVars:NewAccountWide and deleting 'AccountWide' from the end.
I have:- 3 Daedric
- 9 Flying
- 62 Exotic
- 12 Domestic
So not as many as you, but more than enough that it can be annoying to find the ones I want, especially as I tend to remember the names I've given them better than the names which show in the menu. Kallykat✭✭✭✭✭It would be cool if they let players make their own favorites category. The new quick menus do help with that for some items.
On a separate UI/quality of life suggestions note, when I'm trying on hair, face markings, adornments, etc. in the collections tab, it would be nice if it zoomed in like it does in the crown store. Actually, it would be nice to be able to preview items in collections (including pets) without have to actually attach them to your character and then go find the original item again.0 -
LurgidBean✭✭✭✭I have a difficult time accepting that they add chickens to "Exotic" when domestic is an option.
Such a small thing, but it drives me crazy because "exotic" is just a catch-all with 100+ options...and how is my chicken, that lays eggs over and over as its animation, not a domestic animal?!?Edited by LurgidBean on June 7, 2022 4:37PMXbox NA/EU
