ITEM DESCRIPTION
Enractis's Behemoth (monster set) :
1 item: Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
2 items: Dealing Flame Damage to an enemy grants you Behemoth's Aura for 12 seconds [...]
BUG DESCRIPTION
On PC, the great Deltia suggests that TANKS should proc Encratis's Behemoth by dealing FLAME damage, using a 1H Sword with a FIRE enchant & charge trait. See attached video (at min 20:20).

To my surprise THIS DOES NOT WORK AT ALL ON PS4/PS5 (I tested both). I also found that he Necro FIRE skill STALKING BLASTBONES does not proc Encratis, even though it should. There has to be some bug preventing Encratis to proc on certain Fire damage on Playstation.

Encratis procs CORRECTLY on Playstation with skills like Necro's Ricochet Skull, DK's Talons or Mages' Volcanic Rune. Therefore, I can confirm that Encratis CAN proc. However, it obviously DOES NOT proc correctly on certain fire damage.
SUMMARY
1. Encratis Behemoth does not always proc correctly on Playstation (PS4 & PS5).

2. Examples where fire damage does proc Encratis (ok):
Stalking Blastbones, Talons, Volcanic Rune

3. Examples where certain fire damage does not proc Encratis (bug):
Fire enchants on weapons, Ricochet Skull
VIDEO
Deltia (on PC) suggesting to proc Encratis's Behemoth by dealing FLAME damage,

This does NOT WORK on PS4 & PS5 (bug).

They literally just changed it last patch to where it doesn't proc from weapon enchants anymore. You have to use a skill now.

Also that video is from late 2021, when you could proc on enchants. As stated above, this was patched out and you now have to use a skill or a flame staff LA/HA.

Hi guys, thanks for the info about the skill not proccing on enchants anymore.
In this case the Encratis set description is WRONG, because Fire damage is not enough.

Moreover, the Necro skill Stalking Blastbone IS a Fire damage skill but not proccing Encratis.
So there is at least one skill bug with Encratis.

Yeah well the wearer of Encratis doesn't do the Flame damage, the summon does.

I don't really get it either, but this mechanic might be confirmed as not bugged by the fact that Blastbones don't contribute to our Damage Sum in BGs. Not a bug but should be changed, in my opinion.

Azureblight also took a pretty hard nerf with this change as it no longer procs off Alchemical Poisons or Status Effect ticks.

Things like blastbones, mender, and the archer/mage technically count as pets, according to the game, and wouldn't proc sets. The game recognizes the damage coming from the pet and not the necro.

Sorry guys, but then the set description is just plain wrong:
"Dealing Flame Damage to an enemy grants you Behemoth's Aura for 12 seconds"

How shall any average player understand this set if THIS IS NOT TRUE?

Placing a Mage's Volcanic Flame rune on the ground works and procs Encratis. OK.
Placing a Necro's Flame Sceleton on the ground does not proc Encratis. NOT OK.
Don't tell me "the Sceleton dealing the flame damage is not the Encratis wearer himself".
The rune dealing the flame damage also is not the wearer himself.
    1. If you wear a fire enchant on YOUR own sword and YOU slash an enemy dealing flame damage -YOU EVEN CAN SEE THE FLAME ON THE ENEMY- the set description clearly that says this should proc Encratis. But is does not.
    2. If YOU use one of YOUR own FIRE SKILLS such as DK's Talons or Necro's Stalking Blastbones to deal flame damage, the set description clearly says that the flames should pro Encratis. However, only the DK player is lucky that Encratis works for his skill, the Necro player wonders why Encratis does not work for his skill - and thinks that this is a bug.
There probably only are TWO SOLUTIONS to clean up the mess and this bug:
    • Solution 1: ZOS corrects the wrong set description. It should cover all exceptions where Encratis does not proc on dealing flame damage.
    • Solution 2: ZOS removes all exceptions most players do not know about so that the set works as the description says, and any player&class can understand and use Encratis with any source of flame damage.

You're correct, the description is way too ambiguous. Blastbones is def considered a "pet" so it's flame damage doesn't count. They should absolutely update the tooltip to state that the damage doesn't count pets.

blastbones doesnt proc anything, it is not a bug with encratis, but a bug with blastbones (and by extension pets in general), but its sad that a blastbones is a key part of the necromancer toolkit and it wont proc anything
