PC NA is my main server-- the one I started on, the one where I have the most CPs, and (so far) the only one where I spend Crowns on the Crowns-only player housing.
PC EU is my secondary server, but I began playing on it roughly a year after I bought ESO, and I enjoy playing on my main character there, so I'm not very far behind on CPs-- maybe 200 or so less than on PC NA.
My play time is usually split fairly evenly between the two servers, although there are days when I spend much more time on one than the other; I often alternate between them every other day, although I log in on both every day for crafting, endeavors, mail, and login rewards.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!1 -

Xbox is a bit special, as EU is pretty deserted. NA has maybe 5-10 times more players, indicators beside subjective impressions are the guildstores history sales.
On EU I had to solo most worldbosses for the dailies that reward rare furnishing style mats, so I skip such content there meanwhile and play that on NA instead.
Also the prices on EU get ridiculous meanwhile, e.g. decorative wax 500 gold (NA:150), as nobody farms it any more.

This is the unfortunate side effect of not having region locked servers. If servers were region locked, as they should be, the EU server would have a healthier community of players/game.0 -

✭✭✭EUI have a copy of one of my chars on NA. CP2K on EU, around CP900 on NA. Started during prolonged downtime on EU years ago. The transatlantic lag is too much really, but I spent some time on Discord at the time. Talking to people from that part of the world might bring me back occasionally.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭EUI have a number of characters on EU that I leveled quite some time ago. I don't play there often, but I do hop on occasionally when the NA server is down or to test something I'd need a fresh character slot for as I'm full up on NA. I understand content creators that visit multiple servers and even platforms to help reach a larger audience so that can be a factor for many people.

✭Both. I mostly play on NA but made characters on EU server when they used to have maintenance at different times on the 2 mega servers. So when NA was down for maintenance, I could go play my EU characters. When they lined the 2 server maintenance periods up, I stopped playing on the EU megaserver.
I wouldn't bother with my EU characters now... I don't play ESO enough to be bothered about them.

The main reason is the connection, as the two servers are in different physical locations and generally you'll get a better connection to the one you're closest to. But other common reasons I've heard for choosing one over the other is wanting to play with your friends, or making characters on both and ending up prefering the ones on one server.PC EU player | She/her/hers | PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

On NA I only log in where there is 'stuff to collect' (like the Lost Treasures of Skyrim stuff for instance) but otherwise it lays dormant.

PC EU since launch, plus PC NA since the Summerset player event for the free house. That was on both my original accounts up till AwA since when I've abandoned the multiple characters on those accounts and rolled a single character on a new account, he's on PC EU and in time I'll roll one on PC NA.3 -
