If you have any lag/delay issues when looking around, this indicates your graphic settings are too high. This lag/delay is caused by your GPU trying to catch up. I suggest lowering your view distance, shadows, and maybe even the amount of particles or even the graphics themselves. If this lag/delay happens in town, a non high stress graphical situation, your graphics are set WAY too high.In the other thread most people seemed to think performance was the same as before.
For me, it is a massive lag fest. Near the banks, the writ boards, the crafting tables, the writ turn-in boxes, and any sharp changes in direction cause me to lag out. I see a lot more people running off the end of the docks, I assume they got hit by a lag spike.
My lag spikes aren't long, about a second or so, but frequent, and they definitely reduce the urge to play.
I do my writs as best I can, then I go play other games, even though I wouldn't mind playing ESO.
I tried Greyhost PvP just moments ago on PC EU.
It truly is 'horrible'. I can't use another word to describe it. No one can fight properly, everything is delayed to the point where we are having turn by turn battles...or we just give up and walk away.
- This is a 13 euro per month sub based game.
- Extensions cost 40 euros +
- The largest houses cost upwards of 70-80 euros
I'm sorry, but I think I'm at my last straw. I can't give this game my savings any more, be it either financially or loyally.
I can't believe they let things get like this (business model and performance), there is something fundamentally wrong in the workings here and we all see it.
(An honest opinion of a concerned player who is on the brink of departing)

Godawaful.

Just do it man, take a break or try other games, it's the healthy way of doing it.
Good news though, apparently the new NA server hardware has massively increased their Cyrodiil performance. Judging by their threads on Cyrodiil performance. So if you are into PvP, you just have to be a little bit more patient. As EU will get those when ZOS receives the hardware to upgrade, according to ZOS's post(stickied at the top of general).LesserCircle wrote: »I tried Greyhost PvP just moments ago on PC EU.

Hey,
If there is no change, a break makes no difference unfortunately.
We will be performing the PC EU and console datacenter hardware refresh as soon as we can, but as timelines for ordering/sourcing server hardware is still incredibly long, we don’t have a firm date for those yet. As soon as we have any additional information to pass along to all of you, we will do so.

If you have an Nvidia GPU, disable AA in the settings and see if that helps.I am getting at least 3 "Crash to Desktop" daily since the update. No error messages just directly to desktop.
. And also spike in the latency after that back to normal status.
I re-installed the addons still same. This same-case happened at update 31.
PC EU
Not saying this is your issue, but those places have one thing in common: They are nearby, or next to, water. Try turning down the settings affecting water(like reflection), and/or the view distance. Maybe that helps. For me, there have always been weird lag 'holes' (for lack of a better term) in this game.
Not high traffic or graphically complicated etc, just like, a random chest in the middle of nowhere or the entrance to a delve or cave. Early on, anywhere around the entrance to the Harborage in Auridon would go freeze frame as would the entrance to the public dungeon in Davon's Watch. Nowadays, the chest in the cubby past the crafting turn in spot in Summerset wonks, but not regularly.
