i think it'd be great if sorcerer's dark magic passive "exploitation" (currently provides minor prophecy to the caster and nearby allies on using a dark magic ability) also provided minor savagery

just seems like a natural next step in the very gradual stam-sorcification sorcerer has been getting over the years, also gives sorc, and especially stam sorc that little bit of extra group support that it's always lacked compared to other classes
skingrad when zoscharacters:
  • EP - M - Strikes-with-Arcane - Argonian Stamina Sorc - lvl 50 - The Flawless Conqueror/Spirit Slayer
  • EP - F - Melina Elinia - Dunmer Magicka Dragonknight - lvl 50
  • EP - F - Sinnia Lavellan - Altmer Warden Healer - lvl 50
  • EP - M - Follows-the-Arcane - Argonian Healer Sorcerer- lvl 50
  • EP - F - Ashes-of-Arcane - Argonian Magicka Necromancer - lvl 50
  • EP - M - Bolgrog the Sinh - Orc Stamina Dragonknight - lvl 50
  • EP - F - Moonlight Maiden - Altmer Magicka Templar - lvl 50
  • EP - F - Maxine Cauline - Breton Magicka Nightblade - lvl 50
  • EP - M - Garrus Loridius - Imperial Stamina Templar - lvl 50
  • EP - F - Jennifer Loridius - Imperial Necromancer tank - lvl 50
PC/NA but live in EU 150+ ping lyfe

They said that the minor buffs would stay unique to each class. Templars provide Minor Sorcery via Illuminate, Dragon Knights provide Minor Brutality with Mountain's Blessing, Nightblades has Minor Savagery through Hemorrhage, and Sorcerer give Minor Prophecy with Exploitation. Later with Warden give Minor Toughness with Maturation and Necromancer has... nothing, no minor party buffs of any kind.

Posted something similar to this about a week ago. I agree, but it does make unique class skills a bit less unique, since NB has the buff you're suggesting. ZoS made it clear that they want it to stay that way. Doesn't make much sense to me when they hybridized the bonuses in Mage Light and Camo Hunter.

Really, all it would do is give the tool to both NB and Sorcs, not a huge problem IMO. But hey, if they wanna keep unique passives, they can, but ones that aren't generic buffs kinda feel bad with the hybridization. IMO, if they wanted to keep it unique but also give a bit of power to NB that desperately needs a buff, they'd give both minor buffs to Sorc, and change NB to be a flat increase to crit rate so the two buffs stack. Same principle, but gives NB extra utility beyond being a kinda mediocre DPS. I say mediocre, even though it does do top end just fine, but it does it with such a complicated rotation when everyone else can do it much easier, so it's mediocre imo.

This. The reason being that ZOS wants every class to get invited to trials, which has been a problem in other MMOs. If Sorcerer's are the only source of minor prophecy, then even if Sorcs are utter garbage, they will still get invited to trials to buff the group. Same goes for every other class. Not inviting a class always means having to give up something in return. Adding to what was said before, Necromancers provide an easy source of Major Vulnerability. Other classes need to wear special sets for that, which means giving up wearing a different 5piece item set.
If both Sorcerers and Nightblades granted savagery and prophecy each, then only the one that reliably deals more damage would be invited to trials, making the other obsolete.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.
