Weapon effect Cosmetics.

I believe long ago this way an idea but never bore any fruit so here is my version of it.

Weapon effect cosmetics are collectable appearance for your weapons such as if you want to have a sword that burns with fire there is that. want a staff that crackles with lightning? there is that to! The idea is to bring even more customize to the game!

I can picture perfectly what you all are gonna say. (well dragonlord500 if the developers did that it will pretty much cause lag and crash the game)well my dear viewer my suggestion is to have the option to turn players weapon effects off! that way it won't cause lag or crash the game simple because you can't see it! that way you can make your weapon appear even more amazing and it's something new to collect! and the possibilities are almost endless! because there are so many effects they can add to the game!

they kind of already have stuff like this, mostly in the form of the monster arms packs

maw of infernal and illambris are fire

molag kena and engine guardian are electric

there are several which would fall under a "darkness" category

so many of the options your looking for already exist

I avoid using the Master Crafter hammer which sparks lightning at the head, get whispers asking for stuff to be crafted because they notice the hammer. The lightning effect goes away if you put it on a companion though, its just the hammer as they swing it.

Also the Enchantment can also add an Effect, if you have an Elemental one that is.

I think enhancements should add those magic effects, they DO, but only for like a second.
Otherwise, monster sets are there, which is why I like your idea better. If I want a fire sword, and shield, I need specifically those monster weapons, which to me isn't ideal because now I can't have roman/greek styled fire sword and shield.
Instead I'd have to wait until ZoS makes a monster set that looks like imperial equipment, and seeing how many years have passed since Illambris set, I doubt that would ever happen.
So now we're stuck with a narrow selection of monster weapons, and no cosmetic effects, and runestones that only last one second on draw

i would be happy with more options for sure, since pretty much all my toons use polymorphs for the most part, the only customization i usually do is weapons and like to them the weapons with the character

I want another trial with them. Mol has blue glow one
