There would likely have to be a good reason to go back and re-record all the lines and pay people to do it again. I'm not aware of any reason this particular voice actor is in need of a recast.12 -

For the sake of consistency it's okay and honesty I have nothing against the choice nor the performance (opposed to say Gatt, his characters all sound the same - and when Raynor and old pre-recast Verandis sound the same you have a problem imo; while Meridia's VA voices only Meridia and her incarnations in the game).
But if they get Evan Rachel Wood for Meridia I won't be mad.1 -

I'd certainly like more of Meridia, but I actually like that she feels a bit alien, something the other daedric princes lack. I love the lore of this world (Fudgemuppet shoutout!), and when I got to the groundskeeper part of the quest, I told my friend who got me into the game that I thought it was Meridia in disguise. The fact that knowing what she is about made it so obvious who she is means they nailed it.
Her languid pace of speaking and walking, her aloofness and emotional distance are all on point for a prince for whom time has no meaning. The only time she actually seems angry is in TESV when a necro defiles her temple, and, well, who wouldn't be.5 -

I like the consistency with the single player Skyrim, but even if the same actress just re-voiced that dialogue to speed it up somewhat, that would be an improvement. Everyone has their favorite stories and NPCs and those they did not like as much. That does not mean the story needs to be updated. Looking at the thread it is clear the majority like the story and Meridia.
