Would it be possible to have a furnishing system that uses Crystals

I like earning crystals but I get sick of being capped because I have no sets to recon or traits to change.
So was wondering would it be a good idea to have a function to create a furniture duplicate?
This would require lot of shards depending the rarity and you can only duplicate it if its in your inventory. Once created it is bound to your account and can not be traded.
Think this would be a neat way for those wanting another furnishing piece but can't afford it but have alot of crystals.

Till then, I usually create top sets for all different roles for my alt characters with any spare crystals I got.0
