Which character in ESO should come back?

Honestly, I think it's time to pay uncle shego a visit, and Valaste as well.

The decision made at the end of the mages guild questline is still the only one that has any lasting character impact.

It needs a revisit and a storyline that (punishes) those of us that choose to put our characters progress over the fate of an npc.

Look, OP, this one appreciates that you are trying to get people to participate and add their views but how many polls have you created in the past few days?

Give it a rest to avoid polling fatigue ;)

But..... how else are you going to power level your forum account points?

What are the benefits for levelling up the forum account points? Any perks??

This one will stick with khajit impersonation :D

Uncle Sheo, cause I need dat Shivering Isles zone.

Meridia could be interesting and gives us the chance to see the "Golden Knight" again.

We cooked Molag Bal real good to the point where one could argue his lack of presence in future content is directly due to our actions. Same can be said about Mehrunes Dagon.

Tiber Septim can't come back due to not even being born yet.

Everyone else has already come back in some capacity. Some were even the focus of the content they were in.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

It is kinda odd that interesting characters with big potential are omitted in favour of same characters being repeated over & over... and next chapter is kinda about um... sailing. Sailing & no returning Argonian npc. Just plain weird.

I'm ok with bringing back old characters as long as it makes sense they can be back, they add some sense of familiarity, I liked that Gwendis also came back for a questline that really made sense for her to be in.
Abnur Tharn is definitely one I'd like to see back.

    HOWEVER

Weather they bring back old characters or write new ones, for the love of all divines, get some help with writing them!
I know that this is a live service so we can't have our character have any sort of personality because they might have choices that impact the rest of the character's relationship with you and if you make a character hate you it wouldn't make sense that they still admire you on a future questline. But please, write better dialogues! Make the player not be an idiot, allow us to skip reminders for quests we did 5 minutes ago, that's all I'm asking for.
It would be even better if we actually got choices on being nice or jerks, like telling eveli she looks bad in the fancy dress, the fact that we only have one generic choice to tell her she looks nice when so many players don't like her (to be fair, I've nothing against her -just her writing- and I would tell her she does look nice, but having a choice not to do so would drastically improve the role playing in this role playing game even if it doesn't change the outcome)
There's a whole dialogue and story if you do the main blackwood questline without joining the dark brotherhood. Why in oblivion are we forced to confess to eveli that we are part of the brotherhood?
Heck, my main character has never done any single Thief's guild quest before, and this was before AwA, but I loot one single trove, unlocks the skill, and immediately after I'm forced to tell random characters I've never met before that I'm part of the thief's guild and that I've never heard of them before
There ARE existing dialogues for players who are not part of the guilds, and yet we're forced to say that we are

Yeah, but Choixth is a character that was introduced in a DLC... and then reappeared in other DLC. Same for the Heem-Jas. Was in Mazzatun DLC dungeon, and then in Blackwood. Even Jee-Lar who technically is in Shadowfen was added with Murkmire DLC and it is more like a prologue quest. I think there was also an Argonian from Thives Guild DLC that later appeared in one quest in Blackwood DLC.

But my point was (and still is) that so far there was no Argonian NPC from the base game that reappeared in newer content. At least to my knowledge.

Isn't that ESO is a story about The Vestige defeating all daedric prince? :D

I killed off both Lyris and Sai Sahan and had absolutely no desire to see them return, as they were the blandest characters in the MQ.
But if you insist on recycled characters, then I wouldn't be opposed to seeing the Prophet again. Having a moth priest questline (maybe even skill line) would be interesting, and I actually thought the Prophet's character had some substance.

But we do have time travel so that's not a problem

Time travel in Elder Scrolls are very rare occurances. It's not something that's done all willy nilly. Tiber Septim won't be born for a bit over two centuries. Which is where he shall stay.
Now I agree Mehrunes and Bal shouldn't be simply cause we've defeated them. I suppose you could have the cults show up again trying to "restore" their Princes.
Restore? They are fine in Oblivion doing that themselves, there's no need to "restore" them. They be back to make plots with Mundus in no time to them.
Aedra like Meridia are so essential to just the worl they have to come back.
Meridia is a daedric prince not aedra. She was Magna Ge but not any longer.
They do need to make new main heroes though for zones and should make any expansion where any of these characters, except Sheo and Tyber (cause they haven't had one) base around them.
Tiber*. It's an i not an y there. Sheogorath has more than enough content in ESO and again, Tiber Septim is not born yet and won't be for quite some time. That's why they don't have one.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

I think I'd like more Fennorian, but then such a story might destroy the pixel crush I have on him... BUT I would settle for him as a HOUSEGUEST. Hint hint...

    Little Leaf

Unfortunately when you finish Little Leaf's questline, in the south, you'll see why she won't be returning. :(

A lot of characters can't or shouldn't come back due to reasons most of us know about. There are a few explorer types who's appearance in some places makes sense. But they shouldn't keep shoving in old characters into new main quest lines because they can't think of anything better to do.

In High Isle, because of the location, alliance they're in and the current political/criminal climate, there's only a few past characters that make sense even being on High Ilse.

Razum-dar, spying for the queen. B)
Lady Laurant, she actually is a Briton high noble and could have a reason to be there. o:)
Naryu Virian, a lot of things for her to do in High Ilse ;)
