Reduced Enchantment values on small gear items.

Why are we not presented with the actual value of the enchantment before we craft it?

A 33 health on a breastplate is reduced to 6 on the hands and feet. Choosing what goes where depends on the amount it will be depleted from.

Or are my golden years sneaking up on me and I'm just a dumb old man?
Words contained in posts, at which point I stop reading and will not respond...
Toon / Mana / WoW or any acronym following "In ___" /
Pets (when referring to summoned Daedra) / Any verbiage to express slang (ie, ending in uz,az,..) / Soul Stone
... to be continued.

Now, get off my lawn.

You're not losing your mind I saw this too. Bought some vendor trash plus 12 magika chants for my armor and when attached they all dropped to only plus 4, which was 3 points LESS than the ones I replaced. That makes no sense.

If its only going to give "X" amount of bonus list that actual amount on the vendor. I would have never wasted my money.

When you select the enchantment, just hover over the item icon on the right side of the window and it gives you a preview of what the enchantment will actually be.

I did after the first one dropped the total instead of raised it but yer missing the point. If the value it gives you wen buying it doesn't match the value you actually receive socketing it on the gear, thats an issue. Because selling said items back to the vendor is a big loss even when selling it back to the one you purchsed it from.

Part of the problem with figuring out what the value will be, is that it is not static number. Make or find an infused item the number goes up, change the quality with tempers the number goes up.

What you can do is try to enchant all the pieces of gear with the same rune and it will tell what the ratio is. Head, Chest and Legs should be full value then I'm not sure off the top of my head as to the rest.

I don't see the point of it. Why not just flatten it out to a lower value and make it the same on all gear pieces? Well, I guess this way it is possible to get more of the effect at less cost overall just by cherry-picking enchantments.

yeah this is a kind of confusing aspect of the game...it should give the values for the different types of pieces. or at least tell you the percentages or something along those lines
