Moongrave Fane Risen Ruins boss keeps resetting

So we were in vet Moongave Fane fighting the Risen Ruins boss .. as tank I had him turned around facing the ruins behind me .. after doing his stomp, he went to then run forward .. ran into the ruins and disappeared .. reappeared at 100% health (had been down to 80%-something) ...

So we try again .. this time I have him facing away from the ruins .. after the stomp he runs over to where you first walk up into the fight .. I had aggro and did my best t try to get him to turn around .. he wouldn't .. ran off and disappeared again and came back again at 100% .. sigh ..

Third time I had him facing off to the right (looking at the ruins) .. this time when he ran off he didn't disappear .. so we thought good .. and as I was fighting him my screen froze and I got kicked out of the game .. I kept trying to re-log in but it kept saying I was already logged in .. by the time I got back in the rest of the group had wiped without me as tank to keep aggro ..

We left ..

It's been this way since it was created. For what ever reason they decided to give this boss the zoomies, so he resets a lot. It's one of the most poorly designed bosses in the entire game.

This is becoming a more common theme across the game. Bosses resetting in multiple dungeons/trials. been happening for quite some time so don't expect a fix anytime soon.

That fight has been that way since it was launched. To keep this from happening tank him to the left side if phasing the ruin. That way when he zooms forward he goes down the ails rather than I to the wall. Then turn him around then make sure he’s not pointing at the stairs and let him zoom that direction. As the tank you will be letting him go back and forth. The fight was never designed to let the boss remain in one spot another reason why I think he’s meant to reset if you try bugging him into the wall.
