What would you say is the most prestigous Title for Dungeon's and PvP?

I do like to use the Master Angler title on my grand overlord character occasionally, since the rank can be seen with the stars. The amount of grind for those 2 is brutal.

Generally though, Silencer is my favourite title, might have something to do with my preference for nightblades.

Flawless Conqueror is the coolest PVE title, Emperor is the best PvP title because you are literally the most OP player on the server when you have it.

For PVE it has to be Tamriel Hero. Master Angler and grand Master Crafter :

I'm still holding onto my Flawless Conquerer title. Not sure if it's still the best of the best but it's a solo arena title so there is no carries for that.

It was available on ebay for some time ...

For Trials people usually point to one of the same three titles:
    • Godslayer
    • Tick-Tock Tormenter
    • Gryphon Heart

For overworld people usually point to the "Master Angler" title

What would you say is the most prestious PvP Title? Emperor? The Merciless? Siegemaster?

What would you say is the most prestigous Dungeon title? True Genius? Frozen Treasure Hunter? Bane of Thorns?

Also what titles would you like to see added to the game and what would you have to do to earn them? (Keep this on civilized please)

    PvE
    Godslayer
    Dawnbringer
    Tick-Tock Tormenter
    Gryphon Heart
    The Unchained
    Spirit Slayer

    PvP
    Standard-Guardian
    Chaos Champion
    Chaos Keeper
    Chaos Guardian

Super prestigious PvP titles are harder to come by. I use Chaos Champion on my main - sounds coolest of the ones I have. More-or-less never see it in-game, for the extra feel like a special boy points. It took about 25 games of Chaosball specifically targeting it, playing during the witching hour for low MMR RNG assist, perfect storm of my team was all completely useless, 2 kills between all of them the entire game, did not play the objective at all, so I could slow burn someone down, they could die, and my team would not pick up ever - equally very bad, but slightly better than my team enemy teams, with no half decent player using any shields while holding the ball, to play against. It's about 2/3rds luck 1/3rd PvP skill to complete. One good player on your team, no unlock. One shield spamming not-terrible tank on another team, no unlock. The matchmaking gods need to hand you a game where you can utterly dictate the flow of it single-handedly, then you need to be able to capitalize. I'm glad ZOS has left it as tough as it is, very memorable grind, a lot of fun and felt genuinely accomplished at the end.

Flawless Conqueror stopped feeling cool a while ago. Everyone seems to have it/power creep came up behind vMA and made it not-hard. I run it on all my alts who don't have anything "better" to announce "I'm not a potato" with. Spirit Slayer does a good job of being a new Flawless Conqueror/signifies a level of skill that Flawless did years ago.

Former Emperor and Grand Overlord stopped giving major clout years ago. Too common/saturation of title holders vs. active player count crept higher and higher, while at the same time both are easier to get today vs. when they were "cool."

Time-consuming achievements like Tamriel Hero and Master Angler I don't apply any cool points to. They're pretty common, don't signify anything worthwhile. Maybe Tamriel Hero has some value for showing off you did your due diligence on collecting skill points.

EDIT: Hotdog_23 forgot about Murkmire Prepper lol, honestly makes for a good meme title you rarely see.

It'd be nice if ZOS released cumulative achievements with titles - like if there was one for completing every achievement in the PvP list, I'd never take it off and feel pretty shmancy for having earned it. Would go some way to elevating a PvP title to the same level as penultimate PvE titles/combo a bunch of small PvE accomplishments into something really noteworthy worth striving for.

Chaos Champion is the most difficult to obtain among BG titles, and possibly the entire game

Many players have Godslayer and Former Emperor. Very few have Chaos Champion.

    xHT36pA.png

450k damage doesn't sound like much but it's deceptively difficult.

    Here are the requirements
    1. your team must not pick up the chaosball
    2. enemy chaosball carriers can't be tanks
    3. enemy chaosball carriers must have incoming healing to stay alive (no shields)
    4. enemy chaosball carriers can't run away
    5. you must have very high sustained pressure (DK, Stamcro, etc)
    6. you must have incoming healing to stay alive so you can deal damage
    7. no other players can have high damage output
The cherry on the top is there's only a 20% chance you get placed into a Chaosball match.

This is a great example of how difficult Chaos Champion really is.

For PvP, personally I think Grand Overloard/Emp are the best titles to show that you committed time into PvP. For dungeon, I'd say Unchained (If you count BRP as a dungeon) is pretty nice, True Genius is also good.
I haven't played the newest dungeons yet, so I can't really comment if those are harder than TG.

Coral Caretaker (Coral Aerie trifecta) is supposedly the most difficult dungeon title to get now.

I personally think dungeon ones are pretty impressive. Things like Guardian of the Green, Bane of Thorns, and True Genius.

The trial ones can be purchased by paying for runs. Dungeon ones can’t really be paid for now as easily just because of the new implementation of zoning every dungeon player in to a boss fight. You used to be able just to sit out and let 3 OP gods run you through ***. Not happening much anymore as far as I can tell.

I’ve never been a PVPer but anytime I see Grand Overlord I really respect that because that’s a long ass time to grind PvP and earn that.

Houses can be bought with real money so no prestige there.

And then … the coveted … painful … Master Angler

Yes I look at titles in Battlegrounds.

If someone's running The Merciless it usually means they're a new player who thinks 4 killing blows is something special.

Not always... The kewlness of former emp was already gone by the end of 2014 when people started just farming it and taking turns on the short dead campaigns. It was a 10hr battle on the last keep for me and it meant alot but the emp trading just killed it few months later. SO i wear titles now that go with my vampyness regardless if theyre easy or hard to achieve :)

Grand overlord lost some appeal as well years ago when people would flip keeps without any actual pvp with the explanation they were role playing along with some other "gotta get the title without any of the intended effort". They're nice titles for those that actually earned them without taking the path of least resistance.

The Merciless is fun though because it is a "the" title....instead of a comma and the title.....I also like the titles at the start of the name....basically...I think I hate seeing commas in names while running about Tamriel. Man that seems dumb and particular....but it's true. I am find with words floating above the head....but commas break immersion......though shalt not be reminded of grammar!!!!!

I never said I was a reasonable human being.

As such....I usually run with "Lady" since there are no commas and it is basically meaningless.
