Considering that my Mag DK can unleash her inner dragon to turn into a spiked monstrosity, my Mag Sorc makes hardened alteration wards at the snap of her fingers, and my Warden cloaks herself in ice...

Tamriel is a world where the vast majority of mages don't even wear armor at all in previous games, so I've never worried too much about armor coverage.

If we're talking revealing outfits I'm all for it as many of my characters are argonian (skins, markings)

If we're talking about women empowerment by all means have at it.

If we're talking about changing materials over the body(as I THINK O.P. stated later on) then yeah, I hate that. Trying to dye outfits with different materials and the way some react to colors can be a pain.

I am a chick in her 50's and I could not put that metal bra on my main character fast enough! Female beauty is POWER!

I'm a chick in her 70s and I couldn't put it on some of my girls fast enough either! More please! Some of my girls and guys are seriously into "covered" - and some of them are seriously into showing some skin....

Remember, this is a land of magic and stuff,so maybe armor protects the whole area no matter how much/little there is.

I don't understand how revealing skin is empowering.

But what is the point of skimpy tops if we still have huge shoulders hovering over our bodies connected to nothing?

I take in the sense of "I can wear whatever I want without real world judgment."

In Tamriel, everything from battle bras to heavy plate armor is completely normal for female warriors, thieves, and mages, and I love it.

The bras are definitely weird. I can kinda understand them on outfits, but not on armour.

Not really in a world of magic. Certainly not good for a warrior to wear. But mages can wear whatever the hell they want with spells like Oakflesh and all its other improved versions able to protect them from physical attacks. I mean, will a cloth robe REALLY protect you that much more then just bare flesh? Plus there's probably amulets with shield spells too. So there are a ton of ways your mage running around in their undies has the same amount of protection as that mage dressed fully in cloth robes wearing a hood and mask.

Or are you talking about them just weird being plopped onto cloth or leather armor? If that's the case could you tell me which outfit has a metal bra patched on cloth or leather? I honestly can't remember lol sry your question is hard to tell which one you're talking about for me.

Saw this and could not NOT reply; I just turned 60 and while some of my ladies prefer to wear full "robes", my orsimer battlemage couldn't wait to try out a more revealing style. Err.... can't find many pics of her, gotta take a few new ones... here she is dancing before battle - that's Blood Drinker off to the side "singing"

Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

As a female gamer, I get kind of annoyed when there is absolutely zero option for me in this game to wear what I wanna wear. With some of these newer styles, I've finally found outfits that I like, that show off my toons cool tatts, and their vibes. Each of my toons if different. One likes skirts, most of them love pants. I love the idea of a show off top, and full plating on the bottom for most of my toons.

There is no harm in allowing multiple skimpy options to add to the hundreds of full plate/fur combos we've had for years.

Im someone that's insanely opposed to skimpy girl games generally, but the styles in ESO are actually quite thematically pleasing, and thus I wear them. Full plate is so boring if you've been on the same toons for 7 years. I wanna show off what I've earned in game. I want my toons to feel thematically pleasing and like they have attitude and such. My breton however, wear's a full body dress fit for a lady, because she behaves as such. Where as my nightblade pvper likes the whole dark bondage looking top with her full metal pants. She's odd.

Nothing wrong with something for everyone. They don't have to be worn by you if you don't like it ^-^
