I mean the mounts look cool and all but personally I wish the devs would focus a little more on adding new MECHANICS to the game like new weapons and classes, and a little less on more cosmetic fluff.

I mean don't get me wrong I am all for cosmetic fluff, but it's been so long since we had a new class or even new character slots added and never a new weapon. At a certain point another flashy mount doesn't really add much if the engagement mechanics go neglected.

Dunno if it's a bug, but the head markings that change your eyes work on skins. At least on the new Nereid skin. I've got Azure eyes on and it makes the eyes pop more than the default skin ones. I've also tried the new Yellow eyes and the Conjurer's eyes, both worked.

So while the skins change your eyes, you can still change them a bit to suit you.

I imagine cosmetic stuff is done mostly by the art team. Most of the deeper work is already there in game, they just change it and make it nicer.

Stuff like weapons and mechanics need a whole lot more work to get done. It isn't just a change in skins. It's all the work that goes into cosmetics, plus all the deep engine stuff.

The problem is that those would require way more work than some swapped or recoloured VFX.

I find them abhorrent too, but I see people using them all the time. So they seem to sell. And as long as they sell, ZOS will offer them.

Personally, I like disco or fantastic mounts, also the "realistic" ones. If some people don't like them because they break the immersion or they are too bright, that's fine, but I have to remind you that this is an mmo where you see people jumping and wearing colorful dresses all the time. It's a game, let me fulfill my fantasies with my characters and their disco mounts, give me a break.

I'm a bit sad to see that the "Dark Chivalry" crates I've been waiting for for so long is full of more of the typical magic apex stuff. The Dawn's Avenger stuff is epic, and I'm glad that's finally coming, as much as I wish it wasn't locked behind crown crates, but I thought ZoS was supposed to be toning it down on magical stuff for High Isle? Was really hoping for some armoured warbeasts. Maybe even some colourful caparisons to represent the house colours of the Breton nobility. So much missed potential.

That costume looks similar to the Moonlit Cove outfit in the store right now. I wonder though, (since its hard to tell in the picture with her standing in water) is that costume barefoot or does it have some sort of wrap/sandal like most Khajit costumes do?

It is barefoot, it only has those little ankle bracelets things. There's a few NPCs who wears it ingame. The fence khajiit girl from Murkmire outlaw refuges for example.
