fishing needs new rods,, that do cool things also can change colour .. add bait hooks and other gear that can add and place in,. changeable things.. better rods and leveling system in fishing would be cool.. this would make it fun and more interactive-- this make sit more quest like and maybe even have a passive skill line or something.. if anything this best idea i have thought of all week lol.. fishing is apart of the providing .. and brewing could have its thing also the bard class i been talking about or could be passive too,, fishing would be aesome with new fish too.. ones can put in tanks, also in ponds would be cool.. what about growing own fish catch lol.. breeding is bit too far but is it lol maybe people like breed the fish not sure.. meh.. it new things the better for me and other who like this idea fun thoughts .. and options are not bad.. they amazing.. i love that word lol .. thanks reading and hope this will make think about cool new ideas for the future .. see you around all nightlol

✭✭✭✭✭Very interesting idea, many people really like fishing in real life so improving this system in the game could appeal to a lot of people. Special fish that can be placed in homes as "furniture" would also certainly meet with a positive response.
With each new idea, ESO is unifying many great solutions and becoming a better platform for entertainment. As for me, it's ideas like this that go beyond the standard framework (dungeon + sets = new DLC) that make this game more interesting.I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.0 -

If you play on PC there's an addon that kinda does that: Votan's Fish FIllet. It will automatically fillet a stack or every fish you have in your inventory. You just have to start filleting, minimize window and watch netflix, youtube or do other stuff.PC NA server

Heartrage✭✭✭✭✭How to make fishing better (a suggestion list):
- make it possible to fillet multiple fish at a time.
- make rewards from fishable containers more interesting.
- Create new secret fishing pools in unmarked remotes areas of the map. Fishing IRL is also about finding good spots to get big/many fish and discovering those spots is also part of the fun.
- Add small but not very rare odds of getting clumps of 3-4 seaweed (provisioning material)
- Add very small odds of getting a piece of a set that can only be fished. Ideally, a set that would boost fishing.
- Add a new daily/repeatable quest that requires Rare fish from different areas. These quests should give baits and other fishing related rewards.
- Add bottles with recipes/treasure maps/furnishing plans in them.
- Add furnishing items, plans and motifs that can only be gotten through fishing.
- Add an achievement for those that have become masters at baiting fish.
- Make it that we can decide to focus between three different types of fishing: fishing for rare expensive fish for quests and gold, fishing rapidly for provisioning and fishing for junk to get containers, sets or junk items. Make it so we can create this focus through cp stars, item sets and/or food recipes.
- Add a passives skill line for fishing.
- Add a small minigame for when you catch a big fish. (Smashing the action key to reel it would be okay)
- Add new fishing pool types.2 -
