How Do I Slot The Augur For Scrying?

I've seen people quickslot the Augur to point them in the direction of the dig site but I don't appear to have any functional mechanics that allow me to do this. I hover above the Augur in the skill line and the only prompt I have is weapon slot.
It's not in slottable items or quest items, so, I'm at a loss until someone can Please help?

perfiction✭✭✭✭✭You mean the antiquarian's eye? Open your inventory, then go to quickslots tab and it's there in tools section.
The "augur" from skill line is used during the excavation - it shows you green/yellow/orange/red squares.
