What's next after High Isle?

Falinesti, it's been mentioned already. Really can't wait for a new Bosmer related content, made by say, 'matured' ZOS. Too bad all their lands were explored in vanilla, hah. Can we, umm, can we retcon Bravil for the sake of one dlc? Give it to the elves?

I can see a return to morrowind but I hope we see some Bosmer Wood Elves content.
There's so few motifs etc inspired by them, and I would love to see some dense fantasy type forest with updated graphics!

I had hoped for Telvanni Peninsula for 2022 (as it's TES 3 Morrowinds's 20ths anniversary this year), but now I think they will probably go for one of the races that didn't have an extra chapter yet. Probably Bosmer, as they possibly save up Hammerfell for later, as a marketing thing for TES 6.

Either the Telvanni Peninsula, or the border regions near Tear and Thornmarsh. I can see ZOS continuing the theme of political intrigue and tensions for a year or two more.

Would be interesting to see some tensions between Argonians and Dunmer, who are probably exploiting every possible legal loophole to continue practicing slavery.

Know what, when are we gonna get the underwater content? Diving, exploring old submerged temples and such? Flooded mines, what else.. I don't know guar crap about making games but i sincerely believe it's not even that much of work. Just make some basic rules about underwater gravity, some animation, and place stones and seaweed and shells or something in the already existing locations, as in river bottoms, right? Tons of possibilities here <3 And we'd finally put nordic bathers towel to good use, btw

They won't even necessarily need a legal loophole:
"By Order of the alliance herein referred to as the Ebonheart Pact, and with the agreement of the ruling bodies of Skyrim, Morrowind, and Black Marsh, let it be known now and forever that slavery has been abolished in all Pact territories and principalities. (...) The following Great Houses of the Dark Elves have agreed to and will honor this stipulation: Indoril, Hlaalu, and Redoran. Citizenship and freedom are not guaranteed in other Dark Elf territories."

Well, I doubt they'd do another Cyrodiil location after this one considering we just got Leyawiin, I just want to visit Bravil and Skingrad again.
I'd love nothing more than a restored Cheydinhall, it was my favorite city in oblivion, and it's always painful seeing it destroyed like that in ESO (When I pick up oblivion again, I'm gonna be in so much pain seeing Kvatch destroyed)

I would like to go nowhere actually. Fix the game, the map, some graphical tweaks to bring the game up to modern standards. I would be completely fine getting no "new" content next year if it meant the game was better off.

Besides, fixing the map should be a huge priority because a wrong map makes wrong content. If there was a zone to fill the gap in Skyrim then that zone would be wrong based on the vacant space there. If there was another zone in Morrowind, that zone would be wrong because the shape of the province is wrong.

Not sure what I would vote for, but there are five big empty spaces on the map that need filling: Southern Hammerfell, Western Cyrodiil, central Skyrim, central/eastern Black Marsh, and Eastern Morrowind. Also that swath of land between Cyrodiil, Morrowind, and the Black Marsh. So six big empty spaces?

Are there any clues as to what is happening near the end of this year? The 4th quarter release?

My guess is that it will deal with
    the druids.
Unless they are fleshed-out in the chapter release a lot more than what ZOS has mentioned (which is almost nothing) so far.
I'm hoping that they will be as significant as the Reachmen were to the overall Greymoor story (with their home-territory being added to the map like The Reach was, etc.)

That's a good question. I hope the n'wah cares to explain.

Before anyone complains: N'wah literally means stranger. If it's considered an insult is a matter of context.

I think that the point of this thread is for the people to express that they are not much excited for the new chapter, but they are still looking forward to explore other "empty gaps" on the ESO map in the future - places that may be way more interesting. I agree - we have not played High Isle yet, so it is hard impossible to judge if it is good or bad. I can only guess tbh. If somehow ZOS will make Breton lore & knights in shiny armours interesting - then, they will have my congratulations. But for now... lets just say that it looks pretty um... "meh" & generic I guess. This is at least my personal opinion. I am waiting for the PTS to try it out though.

TBH, I think an exploration of different factions within House Telvanni would be both interesting and refreshing - on par with the kind of clan drama we got in Orsinium.

I could easily see a faction of forward-thinking, research-focused characters like Revus Demnevanni or Master Aryon from TES 3 trying to drag the House into the future, clashing with the hardline elders like Master Gothren along the way. Maybe throw in some subtle machinations from Hermaeus Mora, so we can get some daedric involvement that isn't an apocalyptic invasion...

I hope for more black marsh... Murkmire was awesome (quality over quantity). I just hope that one day Argonians (just like Khajiits) will have a full year long story....

... But the reality is that we will get Redguard content, then Wood Elf content... then Imperial content, then again Khajiit content... and Dark Elf content... Argonians will be neglected forever. :disappointed:

Your fears might be justified. :(
