    Druid's Braid vs Trainee...

Well... rip Trainee I guess. Unless they change some of the bonuses, so for example one of those sets will have stamina bonus as 2nd, to make those 2 sets different & relevant.

Is this a mistake, or did they really add this 12pc set???

    Both.

It is real, but running 3 pc is worse than 3 trainee. Adding a 4th piece is worse than adding a 1pc monster set, and running 5 pieces of this absurd set is far from the strength of even a mediocre 5pc set.

You'd have to be crazy to use 12 pieces of Druids over a traditional 5-5-2 or 5-5-1-1 setup. The bonuses would need to keep ramping up for it to even be close, but they stay the same 1540 and 1401 the whole way up to 12...

Zos must nerf them all after selling.

They do it everytime for years :)

Yeah increasing bonuses is definitely needed. It would be nice if they reversed the order of the stam/mag bonuses. Because in trainee magicka comes first already. Or they could have the it be something like:
    • (1 item) Adds 1540 Maximum Health
    • (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka and 1096 Maximum Stamina
    • (3 items) Adds 1540 Maximum Health
    • (4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka and 1096 Maximum Stamina
    • etc.

That might at least be decent to get your stats up a little for pvp.

There are only 2 craftable sets this time instead of 3?

Edit: nm, looked at the main link, there are 3 but he only listed two in the post.

ZOS should buff trainee 1pc to match Druid, don't let all those gilded 1pc fillers go to waste. One can say 100hp is irrelevant, but I've been in too many situation when I survived with double digit HP. Who know how much more I would survive if I had 100 more HP.

I pretty much feel the same. They overpower sets until they have sold enough then overnerf( really should be a word) to uselessness. If balancing is too hard, then they just make them useless and pretend to avoid the issue.

I am still sore about the 'balancing' done to Stranglers.

I don't get it, ZOS nerfed crit because they said builds relied too much on it, then they give us this?
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 items) Adds 943 Critical Chance, Increases your Critical Damage and Critical Healing by 8%.

This looks like a must-have set or maybe I'm missing something

    Medusa:
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 items) Adds 892 Critical Chance, Gain Minor Force at all times, increasing your Critical Damage by 10%.

    Order's Wrath:
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 items) Adds 943 Critical Chance, Increases your Critical Damage and Critical Healing by 8%.

So you have something like 2% less crit chance and 2% less crit damage, but you get additional 129 weapon / spell damage and 8% stronger crit healing.

I thing the trade-off is worth it and Order's Wrath will replace Medusa. Nothing is final yet, but it is funny how we went with power creep to the point in which DLC Crafted set is better than Base Game Dungeon set... oh well.

On the other hand Order's Wrath may indicate that ZOS is going to change Minor Force buff, so it would also affect crit healing too.

but the Order's Wraths Critical Damage does not seem to be a named buff, so you can have that AND minor force stacked

I like the looks of this set. The line of Spell Damage almost makes up for the lower crit and crit damage compared to Medusa, while also allowing you to run Barbed Trap. It can be made in Light Armor, removing the largest issue with Medusa. I also really like the chosen 8% number, which brings crit damage evenly to the cap on a lot of builds (where medium armor typically provides 2% or 12% and you end up with an awkward 2% wasted over the 125% cap).

Sooooo, what about those penalities on Mythics?

You get hit you get buffs but are Snared by 40%, what?!

You gain tons of crit and downside is ... playing the damn game? What is this.

I kindly remind that April fools is over. Jester Festival is over. It is time to be serious

I like the idee of druid set. But atm trainee gives more stam/mag. What i would like to see is increase in stats on the 3-6 set bonus and the 6-9 and the 9-12 set bonus.

And i just love 1 bars setups so the mythic item😁

Still not sure if i want a 1 bar 1h sword/shield stamblade of stamnecro... Maybe i Will level Both🤔

    If there's anything I've learned it's:
    • Seemingly amazing new sets will get nerfed into mediocrity soon after release
    • Said seemingly amazing new sets rarely make THAT much of a total impact
    • That said, spending money for the brief time from release to nerf is not worth it

Sad...but seems to be my experience.

Don't get too excited for Oakensoul. The stat density is off the charts. There's no way it ships with those values.

    450 damage / 129 = 3.488
    1350 stat recovery / 129 = 10.465
    11211 stats / 1206 = 9.296
    1973 crit chance / 657 = 3.003
    5280 armor / 1487 = 3.551

Total stat density: 29.803 (26.315 w/o health recovery)

    Compared to other sets

    Death Dealer's Fete = 6.0887
    Gaze of Sithis = 13.352 (5.406 w/o health recovery)
    Malacath = 7.102 @ 3300 target crit resist or 4.35 @ 2209 target crit resist
    Markyn Ring x3 = 4.656

5 piece sets typically range from 5 to 10 stat density

    Clever Alchemist = 6.2326
    Stuhn's Favor = 6.5723
    Titanborn Strength < 50% health = 10.002
    Naga Shaman = 11.74
    Healer's Habit = 9.5406
    Aetherial Ascension = 7.961
    Ironblood w/ 16.5k armor = 9.987

Now let's look at Oakensoul again: 29.803

    what
