Why can't we sit on Wood Elf Throne, Vine?

It's called a throne and it looks like a hanging rattan chair. So why can't we sit on it?

This is just a guess, but my guess is that the shape of the chair would require a different sitting animation to look right and not clip with the character, so the designers just think of it as a decorative object. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen an NPC sitting in this particular chair.

Well I tried to put a stool under it to see if I could sit on the stool but the throne blocked its access. It would be nice if they figured out a way to make this work.

This is like the Elsweyr chaise lounge that you can’t “lounge like a diva” on it as someone here commented. Though you can actually sit on it but you look like a dork.
