I doubt they'd change quest drops. It's been helpful to know exactly where to go for your Mother's Sorrow lightning staff or your Briarheart dagger, and now with the stickerbook the gear grind is very easy.

If you're trying to farm overworld set gear you're better off running the public dungeon in your zone of choice - bosses there drop weapons and those are harder to collect than body pieces.
