Don't get me wrong, I am sure that the three fixes will be appreciated... but... that's it? I can imagine that you have an impressive list of bugs to fix, so why only three?

Probably all that was ready to go for the biweekly maintenance they had planned anyway

We thought we had launcher problems, but it is probably WAD.

Also, nothing like firing up the game after the patch and gritting your teeth on hoping your CPU doesn't explode when temps skyrocket for 15 seconds. Only does it right after the patch. But every time.

They fixed the gleaner drop, which was nice, but deadlands skyshards are still filled in from achievements in the zone guide incorrectly (and unlike other zones).

I think they fix things they don't include in the notes because the launcher play button is showing up instantly now after maintenance.

I must admit that given the scale of the problems generated by Update 33 and its accompanying base game changes I was more than a little disappointed (and even surprised) to see such weak patch notes.

I'm glad they at least fixed the first-person-bug

I haven't had a chance to test yet but if they have truly fixed the camera issue this is joyful.

Also TIL that under undisclosed circumstances one could do multiple alchemy writs with a single character.

Either way we all prioritise the bugs based on which ones bug us the most - wink wink - and Zenithar knows there is a smorgasbord to choose from but me, personally, I'm elated about the idea of going back to playing ESO without bouts of vertigo.

The more things they fix the higher the chance for additional emergency maintenances...

If Tandor is disappointed, then things must really be bad. :D:D Seriously, though, I appreciate your comment.

Oh, I've been massively disappointed since the mess of AwA first appeared on PTS, to the point where my two main accounts have subscriptions that are not being renewed (one cancelled already, the other is due next month) and the remaining account is limited to a single character so his achievements can't be compromised. The disappointment I feel over the way this change has been introduced is second only to my disappointment at the complete lack of engagement with the community over it.

But I in turn appreciate your comment  !

I'm happy to see small bugs fixed. I'd just like to see that effort dramatically boosted. For example, I want my darn Timbercrow costume fixed! I'd rather see lotsa small bugs fixed and small qol improvements that basically everyone wants (like hide shoulders, more warden bear skins, companions able to wear headgear. . . ) than more 'big' content. The game is wonderfully impressive in size already but there are loads of small tweaks that would be most welcome.

The Elder Scrolls Online v7.3.7 fixes an issue that occasionally forced the camera into first-person perspective.

Finally, at least this problem is fixed. Thanks for that, it was really annoying.

But as far away, somewhere in the fog, as the information about other old and new bugs that still need to be fixed, .... also seems to be my decision to subscribe or even make further purchases.
I bet i see I'm not alone in these thoughts.

Repeated requests for more information on plans to fix issues seem to be ignored in all forums. I have rarely understood this as little as I do right now:
    - there is an anniversary
    - there is an upcoming (purchase) expansion.
What great opportunities to spread a little more information than usual.

Are we just relying on the "patience" of the fantastic community, or will issue fixes or at least info/what plans for that follow before High Isle?

I suspect that these issues were the only ones they were able to fix. (no, I'm not white-knghting. I'm saying that I suspect that they cannot, for whatever reason, fix anything else)

I'm glad they fixed the camera issue, though. I'd stopped doing a lot of things in game because I was getting headaches and nausea from playing.

I've been speculating that they are holding off with many of the bug fixes until after the new server hardware is in place and stable and the code rewrites that Matt mentioned are complete.

It would make sense as I suspect many of the bugs and glitches we experience are due to old hardware\code.
TONS of data being processed and thrown back and forth from clients to servers (AND diff platforms too) and it's just not smooth and efficient like it should be.

So, better IMO to stand everything up on a fresh system and then actually see what bugs and issues fall out. Then you know what ones really need patching.

Yeah, I expect that we are in the patch eclipse for the next Chapter and everything is going into that. Would be nice if they would say that, though. Ya know, just to keep the community updated and build rapport. :disappointed:

Due to the still existent browser bug after starting ESO, i cant join this page, even when i start my favorit browser before ESO.

    Quests
    • A Discreet Pickup: Fixed an issue where one of the Gleaner Drop Sites was extremely difficult to interact with.

It took me almost 15 minutes to interact with this. It's the drop site underneath the shelves and was only interactable for like 1 degree of camera angle. Glad they fixed it because I'm trying to get 30 daily quests for the achievement.

One thing to keep in mind regarding bugs. The community people don't look at the bugs. Engineers do that. The more you ask them the provide updates, the less work they get done. The manager level tech people can only work off of estimates from other people. And with this kind of stuff, estimates are really rough. How good of an estimate can you give for fixing a bug when you have to find the root cause first?

    Communication won't do much.

What is needed is a more stable game. People will just get annoyed at the communication if that doesn't happen. Or they will complain every day that doesn't have a new update that indicates progress.

Well, I just tried it logging in and it is back to taking forever for the play button to show up.

I guess this morning no one was on. Now more people are in-game, bigger lag. So much for thinking they fixed it.

I just hope they have not messed up stacking writs for the next day. Sometimes I can not get them all done and have to do them later the next day.
