AH a Different Take on a old Concept

Ok so iv seen tons! Of post's on how too fix the problems of not being able too sell your goods too more then 2500 players max without having too spam chat!

I am a fan of the 5 guild vender system and the AH(within reason).


My idea and change's would have too be made for the game itself of course, this is just a general Idea type post could be improved upon by all means post if you might have improvements. (Note: I will be taking some things for other games)

Current the biggest issue iv seen people complain about is no economy stability(fairly steadily priced items) and not being able too find large amounts of people too sell two without having too spam chat.

TO THE IDEA:)

Allowing guilds too RENT space in city stalls for a set amount of money for say 3 days(example) they would then not be allowed too rent again for say another 3 days(example), (expanding on this) if they are a member of the guild that last opened a shop in ANY STALL IN ANY CITY or there account themselves they would also be locked out, anther thing that could be done is making so the guild leader is the only one who could set up the stall, which would make the lock out part easier.

Now each zone(I'm guessing here) has about 50 different phases (I am assuming that each individual area within that zone is not phased. (Please note I'm not talking about quest phases I'm talking areas for say 10000 people too play in without causing lag).

Examples:
Small Towns, (without walls so too speak) would have 15 stalls placed around the area, now assuming that 50 general phases are active, that's 750 guild stores (in that one small town) in that town alone. This would make goods available too 50,000 people(assuming that all 50 phased were active and full).

Now this would only increase in mid sized towns and large towns(walled towns). This would be something like a AH while making goods limited too gold spammers and other exploiters).

Now for people who want too sell customized suits of gear (head too toe so too speak) give players the ability too put a pice of paper on the vendor (not for sale) but too advertise [Hey I can can make any heavy amour combination you want send me a email for your order @****] this is a example. This part of the idea could be improved on greatly though.

    You should write this as /feedback in game and send it in that way. Then ZOS will (100% for sure) pay someone to read it. That's why there is no feedback section on the forums.

    Besides, threads like this just turn into troll bait.

    Only problem i could see are the larger guilds or those who have bought gold or for those honest people farmed it. Those very people could lock down a stall permanently, Now if there was say a 10 hour cool down after your time runs out then i could see this working so long as they do not get to place the stalls them self. that would be a nightmare...going off of all the F2P games and even UO that i play. Sadly this would also open up making money easier to come by for the gold sellers. Right now they are vender selling 99% of their items if they add this they will start being able to make REAL coin by selling to the people. So ll in all as i mentioned good idea but would need some work, if you have more ideas on how to prevent these then by all means post them! Out of all of the AH threads this is the only one who is not DEMANDING one lol.

    Not a bad idea really, I could support a system where guilds can sell their wares in the capital cities for a limited amount of time with a cooldown as well as a cost for listing them to the public.

    This is the first AH idea I have seen that wouldn't butcher the economy over night and give people who want the path of least resistance a global form of guild stores. Heck, it may even bring people to realize how nice the guild stores and having 5 different inventories to choose from is and cause more guilds to fill up :)

    Then maybe you should read more of them. There have been many good suggestions brought up in most of those threads ;)

    @alexj4596b14_ESO I like your idea. It closely matches a few that have been presented in other threads. I, personally, would like to see them use some of that empty map space to build areas where guilds can present their wares to Alliance mates.

    The only part of your suggestion I have trouble with is the "rented for 3 days then a cooldown" part. I would rather the mechanism be persistent.

    My idea:

    Faction wide AH in the major cities, global AH in Cyrodiil only accesssible by the faction that controls the keep its in.

    Now lets get some war on ;)

    Now we are thinking! Improvements without having the same concept of a AH rehashed here. I like it maybe flesh it out more. I like the lock out periods. I also think along these lines that someone from the guild must be in attendance at the stall. If gives guild masters a roll in choosing who or taking turns. It's a extra job just like in a real guild where officers and those who attend have functions. Trade masters / Guild masters. Nice idea!

    You don't want too chase people away from the idea by making the guild leaders stand in the stall while people shop , that would be a huge turn off, the whole point is too in courage micro- economy within different areas and zones will make it over all competitive and ever changing without having too spam chat.

    The whole point of the cool down is too make so goods come and go, and are constantly changing, which will create shortages, help increase and decrease demand of items, also help regulate "gold spamer guilds" and such.
