The only thing that would catch my eye is new mythics, maybe. I stopped bothering with stories/questing after Greymoor, & have zero Interest in a mobile mini card game.
Not sure how new class, races, skill lines, transportation, & weapons types are "too much work or time"? Been a staple of mmorpg's content updates for decades for a good reason, game gets stale without.
I really enjoyed the Blackwood expansion. Greymoor was a little more boring for me and kind of drawn out. So, I am hoping High Isle will be more of what Blackwood was in terms of story.
I'm still miffed that there wasn't a new male companion. When, or if, we do get another some day please don't make it Orc or Khajiit or Argonian. I want a handsome manly companion to follow me around. Bastian just doesn't cut it in those regards.
As far as the card game, I can't think of anything more immersion breaking and boring.
Looking forward to the expansion. Bretons are my thing and I'm tired of all the lame world-ending threats that have been part and parcel of so many expansions.
Looking forward to another companion, particularly one that's not so freaking ugly (I like Bosmer, but ZOS obviously does not).
Not looking forward to the card game -- RNG is decidedly not my thing. (Hint: RNG is a time-honored stunt developers force on players to make their thin games appear more substantive.)
Have killed my subscription. Will return probably end of July -- will give ZOS time to unbreak their game (expect the month after the expansion to be a repeat of our last "unexpected event."
Oh, LOL, for all the I'm too good for this game types who want harder overland content, I dearly hope High Isle is beefed up considerably. Of course, these forums will be filled with the same people griping about how grindy this game is.
I am a little disappointed mainly because of the price.
Summerset was cheaper when it didn't have a class, though it did give Jewelry Crafting and a new skilline
Greymore at least had two new skillines and two new mini games so that justified the price
Blackwood got companions which is murky water.
Sure, we got two more companions, but the system will be the same. No new skillines or anything, just more companions and a mini game. I feel like it should have been at least Summerset price.
