Mundus in Armourer - when?

Not having the mundus stone stored in you Armourer build is a huge omission. If I want to swap the same character from dps to healer to tank to pvp it needs a mundus change to be complete.
I get ZoS devs ran out of time to implement this initially.
If selling mundus stones in the crown store is an issue, make it that if you own the mundus you can have it on your stored Armourer build.
It’s too easy to forget to also change mundus and significantly reduces the use of the Armourer.

First, according to your suggestion if you buy mundus stone once you don't need to buy it again. And ZOS would not implement it.

Second, even if they want to implement it, how can they make it so if someone bought a mundus stone and keep it anywhere (any house, inventory, whatever) and armory system tracking 1 item in the ocean every single item in your whole account to give you ability to change mundus stone?
Regardless of if you are using assistant in overland, in your house or someone elses house.
They need to make an achivement for it and maybe make the armory system track that?

Even then over the recent years, everything they implement to the game (game balance, achivements, everything) is to either make more money or fix the performance(even if they are failing at it)
And what you are suggesting costs a lots time and money, it will not make significant amount of money and it will potentially make the performance worse.
Hence they don't want it, they don't need it, they won't do it.

I have to admit, I could not understand these arguments at all. It might be my reading comprehension, but these words did not make any sense to me. It is an oversight not to have the mundus choice saved with the build. I have read the argument that this might cut into the sale of the grossly overpriced stones in the crown store, but I don’t buy it.

    Me neither.

If is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight I don't think there is a lot of evidence to support this argument. The fact that no competing argument has been made doesn't immediately validate this one.

I mean is not impossible as such, there are plenty of the usual 'trappings' of pushing sales of premium 'convenience' and 'cosmetic' items like limited time availability or 'flash sales' for instance but in this case... honestly if they wanted to push the numbers on mundus stones one would think that they would promote them via featuring them in the crown store 'front' and the occasional 'flash sale' too, rather than burying them in the 'premium furnishing' menu to never be spoken about again.

I've suggested it like that in another topic and it would be win-win for both sides. It would definitely push the sales of the mundus stones a lot.

Mundus stones are bound, so they can just be added to the collection, which makes it easier to track for the armory system (instead of scanning every house).

If this were the case then it would have been added by now. As such it does appear to be a different reason and at this point, it seems to be a conscious choice Zenimax has made to not include Mundus into our saved builds.

From what I understand there have been two different exploits that permitted having more than one mundus. Since it appears more likely Zenimax has chosen to omit mundus from our saved builds this does come forward as the most likely reason for their choice and reduces the likelihood this will change. Not suggesting it will never change.

If they are suggesting that people buy mundus stones multiple times, I think that is simply a non issue. They are expensive, and I bet the numbers of people that buy the same one twice on the same account are extremely small. I have also made the same suggestion as OP several times about allowing the Armory to used purchased mundus stones. If anything, this would encourage people to buy them. That number would far outweigh any sales lost on people that actually buy two of the same.
