Armory station and coffers disappearing
Ever since the update randomly when I go into one of my houses that has the armory station or storage coffers in it they will disappear into the void and I will have to get them back via the retrieve tab, it will say they are 200m away in a house that definitely does not have that kind of distance in it like Grymharth's Woe in Windhelm. Is this happening to anyone else? Xbox NA. All other furnishings seem to be unaffected at the moment.

✭✭✭✭✭Yes, happening routinely on PC-NA. Only noticed it on my armory, but will check coffers now too.
Happening since U33. Armory randomly yeeted 170m across the water in the Psijic villa.
What’s even stranger is a groupmate in my house with me will see it and use it where it should be just fine. When I’m in their house, I sometimes can’t see or use the armory station either while they can.
It seems they never get this issue, but for me it’s like a coin toss whether it will happen in any given load into either of our houses.1 -

Yes, it's affecting my coffers and chests as well as the armory station.
It is random, as far as I can tell, and whether it chooses to move my armory and which chests/coffers it moves is also random. Resetting them fixes it for that instance, but the bug then can return in the same session or after relogging. It may be moving them to the same (inaccessible) location in my house, as the armory station is always moved 170m away and the chests/coffers about 135-140m, depending on which ones have disappeared. It is always the same distance for each specific item.
This is getting more and more frustrating.
@ZOS_Kevin Is the team aware of this? I've been reporting it since U33 dropped.
ETA: This is in my Grand Psijic Villa. I'm not sure if it happens with any other house of mine. It did occur with someone else's Armory station in their Lunar Champion hall.Edited by virtus753 on April 22, 2022 5:07PM0 -

I was in my Snugpod and realised all my boxes had disappeared!
After a flapping panic, thinking of all my purple companion gear, and yellow armour/weapons I'm not using currently, and the multitude of writs zipped off into the void, my OH suggested to try and retrieve them. Sure enough 200m away were my boxes, intact
(200 metres from Snugpod, were they trying to be Undaunted? or just maybe got sucked into Elden Root?)
My armoury was still where I'd plonked it.
I wonder if it's connected to several other instances of stuff moving?
In Solitude there are several items of scenery that sometimes become misplaced. And on occasion a Solitude guard shifts a couple of metres forward from their usual spot.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Thank you for the input! Really nice to know that this is not due to add-ons. (I don’t run any housing add-ons in the first place, but there’s always the worry that something else might be causing an unexpected interaction.)0 -
itsfatbass✭✭✭✭✭ZOS?? This is definitely a more widespread problem, having these exact issues. Radio silence on this from the devs too. I can completely close my ESO client and relogin and coffers and armory are still invisible. I would say that it's crazy this is still going on almost 2 years after my initial post about it but I'm not surprised. It still happens to my wife and I every once in awhile. For us on Xbox it seems random when it happens, sometimes it's just walking in the door other times it's jumping into the house (mainly the house in windhelm, but does happen with others).0

✭✭✭✭✭Another player pointed out that it seems to depend on people being in a group and one person porting into a house before the other.
When my partner and I were grouped the other day, I ported into her house first. For her, her chests and coffers were gone. I could see them just fine.
We both had to leave the house at the same time for it to be fixed. Reloading UI and each of us leaving the house individually did not work.
For us it's usually the other way around. She'll be in her house, and I'll port to her. Her Aeonstone Light (which she uses as a table) is almost always gone for me but there for her, since she was there first.0 -
