Multiple gear outfits- SOLVED ty!

So, i've noticed the outfit slots are just to change appearance.
Does this game offer any ability to change the items you are actually wearing at the push of a button? For example, to go from DPS gear to healer gear. Instead of having to manually unequip stuff, then go hunting for your other gear set through the other crap you may have in your bags,

✭Yes, the armory. You have to have the armor in your inventory though, it won't craft it or pull it from the bank. The armory saves everything about your setup and you only have 2 slots if you don't buy more.
If you're on PC, you can use addons like alpha gear to do the armor part on the fly.1 -
proprio.meb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭If youre on pc forget about armory system and use alphagear (or other similar addon), they're faaar better.
Bind your setups to a key and, providing youre not in combat (and ofc having needed gear in inv) you can switch in a second.1 -

✭✭I use both armory and an addon, armory to handle broader changes including attributes, CP, and skill point allocation (mostly for characters going between tank and dps). Addons for gear swaps and skill bar swaps.3 -
proprio.meb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Yeah, alpha gear can be integrated with champion points addon (i think thats the name) to change cp... not skill point allocation though.
For switching a character between different roles armory is probably still pretty useful.
What's otherwise really annoying about the armory is the need to travel home (unless you buy the assistant), so if you just need to switch between boss/trash setups for a dd while running group content its unusable.Edited by proprio.meb16_ESO on March 27, 2022 12:42AM2 -

✭✭The armory is fantastic.
One of my favorite aspects is I have my build saved on slot one and slot two empty. Any time I want to respec I simply equip the blank canvas build two build and it wipes my gear, skill points, attribute points and CP for free.
In the end I'll save a proper build to slot 2 (tank build) but for now having that blank slot is a godsend, saves me so much time and coin.2 -
