You mean waiting to release til it actually works??? Ya , I agree. But it's profits always over performance with these big companies.
Some people actually weren't having a nightmare experience on PC though, I saw some posts that said things were fine for some players.
But every new dlc in ESO comes with a lot of performance problems, major ones.
Zenimax hasn't the man power or enough real talent to handle these things. So I wouldn't invest so much into the DLC as of yet. I'd take a "WAIT and SEE" approach.

If you want to compare space travel with a video game, ok let's try :-) This update would be like our politicians decided to put all citizens of a country in planes without windows and fly them to mars. Let's see what happens, no need to test it. Yes, some "players" do not have lag in cyrodiil and i totally believe every word they are writing...Some people actually weren't having a nightmare experience on PC though, I saw some posts that said things were fine for some players.
But you are all right, of course. We will get new problems next week, and there is nothing we can do about it.
