Please, fix the game!

Hello,

DISCLAIMER: I am not making this post to flame, bait, raise conspiracy theories about anything or go against any guidelines/rules/ToS.

Please, fix this game. Ascending Tide is by far *the* worst possible game performance in years. Including the terribly broken Markarth patch last year which glitched light attacks because you decided to play around with "medium" attacks or whatever.

I understand that the game is 7-years-old, that the motivation or willpower might not be there anymore, but please. I am writing this post while my "Chaos Ball" battleground is in a loading screen, not in a queue. In a loading screen. Since 3 minutes now. This is after I spent 8 minutes on "Requesting Character Load".

At this point, I am not even bothered with the fact that how lazy, lackluster and uninspiring the game has been lately, but now its literally unplayable.

So, before I spend more money - I would genuinely want to know if there is any future to this game left? Or if this is the performance we should expect going forward? Any form of communication (and no, the current communication is not satisfactory.) will be appreciated.

P.S, 7 minutes in, I am still in the "Chaos Ball" battleground loading screen.

I think they should not do any chapter or DLC content this year. Honestly, if at the beginning of the year they announced that all they wanted to do was a slow release of AwA, patch and fix a bunch of issues in the game, and work on updating zones and content that they already have released, I'd be super happy with that. This game needs a full year AT LEAST of fixing and updating.

For WoW, after the Wrath of the Lich King, they started doing their major releases every other year. I know there is going to be some people in the community who are going to be in arms because they want something every year, and it has to be big and shiny! But I think that is simply too much. They can't keep rush adding things into the game while there are still way more things that need to be fixed. The year should have been focusing on fixes, not High Isle and the card game. Neither of which we need.

Yes I understand they did it to make money. But honestly if they decided to do a full year of just fixes (including for PvP), I wouldn't stop playing and paying for ESO+, or buying things off the crown store. Id be super excited for it. I know for the PvP department they said they would try fixing things this year. But with everything basically breaking, I don't see how they're going to actually get to that point now.

I would not mind a year of fixes, but at this point it seems every maintenance breaks more stuff. Today's original maintenance broke a lot of things but I could still login and even with a minute or two long loadscreens I managed to do three battlegrounds.

Now? 17 minute long screen in Chaosball after which I alt+f4 and closed the game. And just now got in a match after a 4 minute long screen that ended as soon as I moved cuz it had already been going on 14minutes...

Eh, I wonder if so many things break because of maintenance due to having to literally push it out the door as fast as possible. AwA was rushed because they needed to do that before High Isle came out. Which resulted in... what happened... A year of maintenance could mean a year of CAREFUL maintenance where we might not see as many of these problems. Or at least normal bumpy maintenance's, and not catastrophes. I feel like the Cold Storage probably should have waited until after the server recovered from the AwA update. But it couldn't wait because they have unreasonable deadlines to make.
