Considering MS took over last year, the steady purge of bad actors may be still going on. I should also say some folks may have left due to not wanting to work for MS as a parent. What I can not tell is what they are offering as starting wages, it may be too low to attract anyone right now. Its a hot market for remote workers due to one can not fake it now a days.
That makes sense, and it is good to purge bad actors. And I certainly can't stand Microsoft. It's why I no longer use Git Hub.0 -

I *assume* the reason why ps4 and xbox were done first, rather than pc first, is an indication that pc population is way higher than console, and the issues are that the answer to the meme question of "does it scale" which, this time, is a resounding "no, it definitely does not".

And of course, the consoles are scheduled for maintenance tomorrow... I just hope it doesn't end up like today...

I play on PC/NA and am keeping all my digits crossed that the console players don't experience what we did. I really hope that some of the issues we experienced last week are fixed for you guys.0 -

Just did random normal, my friend (sitting right next to me IRL) and I loaded into the dungeon. I got "in" and we started (Blackheart Haven)... between loading screens and getting bumped and long loading screens we were midway through the second to the last boss (the first mate, I think) by the time my friend got in.

EDIT: Got back in, ported to Fargrave. Got there after some minutes. Walked up to Ossa door. Clicked to enter. I stayed on a loading screen again for quite some time. I never entered the home and I got booted yet again.
So I did what the prompt said, lol. I checked my stuff. I dunno but I think it's okay

✭Perfectly stable connection, plenty of bandwidth (~400 MB), log-in for the first time inside my primary house. After a very long time watching the spinning icon that doesn't spin — even that is broken! — I start collecting cash from the mail, and suddenly I'm booted back to the log-in screen with the pathetic generic error — I'm a developer, so I can say with some property that generic error messages should never exist and if they do, only in the most basic process/code/whatever.
I'm patient, so I tried again. Began my daily writs, ported to my house again to get the pre-crafted items from chests, and I'm kicked because the game couldn't connect to servers. Then I go check my Internet connection and guess what? Perfect! <_<I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.2 -

Logged in, decided to do a BG toward the weekly endeavor. Took me 3 tries to get in (kept not responding to ready check) and then I was put on a team with one other player in a BG that was already underway. We eventually gave up (the other two teams were full) and just waited for the clock to tick down.
Also had long loading screens (took forever to log in).
I would normally do the daily endeavors, but with all the problems I logged out instead. Since the patch I've been spending more time playing other games. Hopefully they'll fix everything soon.Edited by AzuraFan on March 22, 2022 12:46AM1 -
guarstompemoji✭✭✭✭MMOs are complex layers of code, expected to operate over years. Not maintaining a consistent staff is a red flag for stability.
The culture, externally and internally, appears from here to have changed. They used to award crates, for example, to ESO+ sub'ers during flee play week. Staff would respond in-character to some requests, and have/encourage a good time while doing so.
ZOS, please fix the game, but please address what led up to this, too. Games should be for gamers, and we want your staff to love working there.Edited by guarstompemoji on March 22, 2022 1:17AM1
