Yes, I'm making another one of these threads. And yes, I do mean "unplayable", not "unfun" or "frustrating". Sometimes I can get to the character select screen. Sometimes I cannot. Sometimes I can log into a character. Usually I cannot. But if I try for any more than that, I am out of luck. The game hangs at loading screens and each is an opportunity to be shunted from the server. I can't even do my crafting dailies.
This is absurd. I have never experienced this in any game and I have been playing MMOs for nearly 20 years.
edit: Note that I was playing FF14 at the launch of Endwalkers. That was nothing compared to this. There was a queue. You sat in it. Then you got in. Sometimes, rarely, you'd get kicked from queue, but at least once you cleared Login Queue (Savage), you could play. Even then, that issue was fixed fairly quickly and could be entirely avoided simple by not playing during peak hours.

Cyrodiil is a joke right now. I see a fight on the map. I try to teleport to the keep. 10 min loading screen. I finally get to the keep. Then of course the fight was already over decades ago.1

✭✭✭✭✭I got right in to the character select screen, which is better than last night before the maintenance when I kept getting stuck in the login queue. But we'll see what happens as I cycle through my alts to get their mail. My main is still logging in, but it's not unusual for my characters to take longer to log in right after a big maintenance, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -
I qued up for a dungeon after the hotfix and got in immediately, but by the time I loaded in, they were on the last 2 bosses ... Something is seriously broken still ...0 -

DrMuggle✭✭I'm having trouble logging in and logging out. Doing my daily crafting writs on 9 toons usually takes me a total of 15 minutes (including logging in/out time). In the past 35 minutes I've managed to get through 2 toons. The maintenance has absolutely made things worse not better.
Can we start a petition to get ZoS to please please please stop adding new stuff until they've actually fixed the existing game?3 -

Vexen✭✭✭It really seems like something is lagging the server with way too many messages being sent between client and server - with mail. Almost every character I have gets logged off with the 'you're spamming' each time i open mail to look at attachments, which I can't get.1 -

That's certainly possible, but I'd have thought they'd already have had a "Senior Server Engineer"... as well as several "Server Engineers".0 -

Considering MS took over last year, the steady purge of bad actors may be still going on. I should also say some folks may have left due to not wanting to work for MS as a parent. What I can not tell is what they are offering as starting wages, it may be too low to attract anyone right now.
