instant login errors after maint

I tried to log in, instantly got a 'lost lobby connection' error.

Tried to log in again. Got "this account already logged in" error.

This is quite the omen to start the new week with.

    Meanwhile I've been sitting in "requesting character load" for almost 10 minutes.

    No problem at all for me. Very quick log in to character select and character load into Grahtwood.

    This. Five seconds to character select screen, about 20 seconds to character load-in in Vivec. Fastest load I've ever seen.

    To be fair, I would expect some turbulence right after a patch...everyone trying to login at the same time is bound to cause some issues at first.

    Logged on to do mount training this morning.

    First character, no problems.
    Second character, stuck on 'requesting character load' for over 10 minutes.
    Attempted to reboot the game, been stuck on 'Login Queue: Approximate Wait Time: 1 sec" for over 15 minutes.

    Guess I'm not playing today.

    I wonder if Blackwood is having trouble? I'm trying to log in and do writs. After 10~ minutes I got into the first toon, did my writs, logged out, now waiting for the second toon to log in.

    I load OK, but the game wont let me log out of a toon to go back to char select screen.
    The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

    Logins are taking me from 30s to 4 min. Logouts are on accasion over 4 min or never. I just gets worse and worse. I gave up trying to cycle my 25 chars today. How does this kind of change happen without a download? The problem is on the server end. Hope they can stumble into the solutions soon.

    The queues that say 1 second are "fake" queues essentially. Back out and log back in and it should let you in.

    Can someone make a sticky about the fake queue? It's affecting a LOT of people lately on all platforms and a bunch of people still don't know how to get around it, which is making them waste time waiting.

    Wouldn't let me log out after I got in either. There is no way to get to IC or cyrodiil now either. Those options don't exist in game right now.

    So many screw ups right now I don't see how they don't shut servers back down and try to fix.

    PC/NA New Machine I7 9700F 16 GB RAM RTX 2060 Super NVMe SSD

    Stuck on "Requesting character load..."

    Oldest Machine AMD Athlon 2 X4 with 12 GB RAM GTX 1660 Super logged in ok but -

    Still FREEZE FRAMES when riding mount at sprint through Vulkhel Guard. This did not happen prior to U33.

    So not better than yesterday at all. Possibly worse.l

    5 minutes to load character, change map and get booted.... YEP fun times.

    3rd character trying to load into Blackwood, took about 4 minutes in "Requesting Character Load..." definitely slower than before the patch when I was trying to do writs in the morning.

    First character logged in very quick, impossible to log out so did quit the game,now stuck on character load for 5+ minutes.
    Total ESO playtime: 8325 hours
    ESO plus status: Cancelled
    ESO currently uninstalled.

    The next character was faster, only took 2 minutes of "Requesting character load..." Maybe the server is catching up with everyone logging in as usual.

    Looks like the speed is just a fluke, still waiting a long time for "Requesting character load..." also waiting on logout, stuck at 0 seconds" for a long time.

    I have to wonder if this is all tied to the Sharding work they did. I'm going to wait til much later to see if the Sharding catches up to everyone logging into their new Shards.

    Same just happened to me. While I was waiting for the log-out that didn't happen I could move around but not see or post to zone chat as well. Had to quit to log out and now character load is taking forever.

    Had no issue initially going to Rawl'kha where I had logged out, but currently load is stuck when porting to Vivec.

    perpetual character load until inactivity boot. no load screen.

    My first few characters did not have the long wait on logout, but now they do. All these characters had logged in earlier for account-wide-achievements, so maybe sharding is the cause? But the waits are pretty bad now. 4-5 minutes to load out and in to a new character.
