Sorry after re-reading I forgot to include some information. I am farming at Craglorn, specifically next to Spellscar and prior to the event was receiving the exact same experience points from the mobs that I am currently receiving now...I did not take consumables or anything to boost experience and was receiving around 10-20k exp depending on the pull size. Now, during the event, it is exactly the same.

I was under the assumption that 100% experience increased rate meant double the experience. Am I wrong in this regard. Thank you fellow players.

So with the Enlightenment Bonus I'm receiving around 30~70k exp...after that wears off it's back to the standard exp rate that I've been receiving since I started farming in Spellscar.

Sea, may I ask you to tell me quickly how much exp you're receiving at this moment in time if you were to go kill mobs right outside of Spellscar. Just as a quick way to confirm whether something might be bugged for me?

The event should add 100% of the base XP, meaning it does not just double your total XP gain unless you have no other XP bonuses at all.

So for quests you could be getting just 200% of base XP (if you have no bonuses) or up to 470% if you’re already stacking a leftover previous event bonus (mead/pie/cake/brew), a 150% scroll/potion, ESO+, and a ring of Mara. I know you said you didn’t have a consumable active, but that doesn’t cover things like ESO+, rings of Mara, and training gear.

For XP gained specifically from kills, as mentioned just above, you have to consider whether you have a group bonus (10% for being in a group of two) and any training gear. If you’re running 60-80% extra xp already on kills thanks to training traits, then it will definitely not feel like double xp. Even if you have no other bonuses but do use training gear, the event will only multiply your effective XP from kills by about 55%-65% because it adds 100% of base xp rather than multiplying with other bonuses.

Can you post details of a specific mob pull (count how many there are in the pull so we can have a fixed number for comparison) and how much XP exactly you’re receiving for it? People do pulls of very different sizes in Craglorn, so I could mention, for example, that the pulls I was doing were worth 3-10k outside of enlightenment the first day of the event. But it seems our pulls were quite different if you’re getting 10-20k. My instance was fairly crowded, so it was hard to isolate pulls or get big ones outside of a group, and my pulls were likely smaller than yours. But I had only ESO+ and no other XP bonuses.
