These weapons/shield are INVISIBLE when sheathed/stowed and perfect for one bar so you can be free of floaty/clipping weapons/shields when not in combat.
They are awesomesauce >^^<

Yep, they're super good for characters who summon weapons and then desummon then afterward. I have a bard who can conjure a bow for hunting and this will be perfect for her.

Yeah this is the first time I'm actually interested in a weapon pack, as they look exactly like summoned weapons in previous TES games. For my characters I usually avoid glowing stuff like the plague, but in this case it's great!

Most importantly it's not a limited time thing. So while I'm probably picking it up later this week, I don't Have to, which in turn makes me more likely to actually grab it from the store. :D

@Gaebriel0410 unless I misread, it does seem to be a limited time availability at the Crown store. Quoting from the March Crown Store announcement: 'The Gloambound will be available in the Crown Store on all platforms for a limited time, from March 16 to April 20 at 10am EDT.'

I got it right away but would not want others to miss it by over delaying. :)

*Note: NB guildy just informed me that when used with abilities that cause your weapons to glow, the glow does not disappear with the weapon. Also that the devs are apparently looking into the issue.

@Coatmagic that is correct. My Magblade has a spell that gives the end of her staff a red glow for the duration. After stowing the Gloambound staff with the effect still active, there is a persistent red glow above her right shoulder until the spell expires. Good to hear that the devs are looking into this minor problem. :)

Edit: Same thing with my Magward and the Lotus Flower / Green Lotus skill.

I actually hate this feature. What's the point of having a cool glowing weapon if it can't be seen?

I think the whole point is to replicate a summoned weapon skill that is unsummoned when 'stowed'. I think the Opal weapon style provides plenty of persistent glowing options for those who prefer that route.

I very much like the Gloambound weapons. :)

Oh I misread it then, thanks for the notice!

Shame it's limited time again, but at least a month is a somewhat proper window to get it instead of the ridiculous 3 day ones they do way too often. :D

Good, I should get enough crowns just before it disappears.

Just because you hate this feature doesn't mean it needs dev attention. These are bound weapons which are weapons you conjure in battle. Disappearing when stowed is both a deliberate design choice (included in the info on the purchase information on the page) and lore friendly. And it's a feature many of us are VERY happy to have. This was actually my primary reason for purchase.

ZOS was very smart here imo. The weapons themselves are fully invisible but they have effects when unsheathed (similar to monster weapons) which let you see the weapon.

Perfect way to do this imo and they look awesome.

Now.... maybe some invisible hip flaps/shoulders next? 👀
