Body Marking to hide "peek a boo" window in costumes

I love the Buoyant Gentility Ensemble costume except for one thing... the peek a boo window in the front. It would be nice if there was a body marking that would cover the chest area for those of us who are more modest in our appearance. Something like a bit of lace, or netting, or other cloth would be nice. Please consider this.

This is how it looks with the Morag Tong Body Tattoo, which I think is an improvement, but would still love some chest markings that cover up the peek a boo window more.

We are all different. I personally don't like skimpy female attire. Would be nice if we could have a body marking to minimize this for those of us who don't enjoy it.

This is such a nice outfit for my Vampire, but I cringe every time I see that huge cutout.

Do you have the big body markings pack from the store? I know there are ones out there that fill in all the space but I can't recall the names offhand.

Think the point of the Buoyant Gentility Ensemble to be fancy gown who show off your breast in an undertone way.
As in its not risky in any way compared to current day fancy gowns or the other stuff in ESO.
My current favorite is

Yes she is an farming stuff.
And she makes perfect sense as an Khajiit NPC farmer.

There's tons of outfits and costumes out there already that are totally covered either with cloth or armor.

This. There are many other costumes that display a lot of skin, and also a lot that are very modest. In fact there are probably about equal amount modest vs revealing outfits. I know you like the style of this PARTICULAR outfit, but if the tattoo idea doesnt work I would suggest finding a more modest dress for your character.

I love to have my characters show some skin. My main is currently wearing the new clanwrap top on her, and I love it. But Im not going to have her wear a more modest dress, and come in here complaining on how little skin it shows, when there are dresses in the game that are meant to be more revealing.

So try the tattoo idea. Vampirism does dull a lot of the tattoos considerably, so keep that in mind. But other then that nothing is going to change.

I know there are costumes that are covered, but I like this costume and feel it looks really good on my Vampire. I don't see why it would hurt to provide some body markings that would cover this area. It won't hurt the costume and would give us more flexibility with our appearance.

Go into the crown store and purchase the body markings bundle. It comes with the original body markings that you can see in character creation. There are many body tattoos that cover the entire chest area. Wear one of those if you need to.

Just remember that the vampirism will dull the tattoos on your toons body. So you might have to remove it if you want to get the effect you were looking for.

I never asked that the costume be touched in any way. I just requested some body markings, like the tattoo I am currently using, to cover this area.

I... never said you did? I also gave a suggestion for tattoos later down? I also suggested that if the tattoo idea still doesnt work, then there is nothing you can do and just wear another dress. I also mentioned that if a part of a dress bothered me so much for a character to wear I'd just wear another dress. There are outfits in the game where things on them irk me enough that I just don't wear them. But if you want the sum of my post it is: Try tattoo idea, if it doesnt work just change the dress, or wear it and deal with the chest section.

Sorry if mentioned already (I don’t know the name of the body marking off-hand) - but one of my characters uses one that looks like an anvil, which fits perfectly in Whisperweft Gala Wear chest-gap.

I am not asking that this costume be changed to be less revealing. I am saying I like everything else about this outfit and would like some body markings, or tattoos, that cover this area. Then I could enjoy this costume in a way I'd feel comfortable with. That is not a complaint, just a suggestion.

The body markings cosmetic pack also got Deep Dark Red-Trim Gorget, which makes the arms less painted.

Silverbride, when/if you get the tattoos would you mind posting a picture of how your character looks in that dress with them? I'd also like a more modest way to wear both that dress and holiday in Balmora because the revealing window doesn't suit my characters personality. I'd love to see how it looks on your character before getting the body marking pack.

Also, your character is really pretty! I like her style.

I'm not wanting to cover up any outfit. I'm wanting to cover up my bare chest that is sticking out through a big open hole in the front. This costume is otherwise perfect for the look I am going for.
