Bg teabaggers

I've played quite a few bags and never really found BM teabaggers to be a big problem. But now I'm playing a magplar and something about it has really triggered people I've been getting teabagged a lot. Do people just hate magplars for being OP that much? I also put ring of the wild hunt on and I think it pisses them off I'm hard to catch.

Just curious if other people have found particular builds bring out the hate more than others.

Magplar in pvp, in particular battlegrounds, has insane heals and can be extremely usefull in a group and dangerous for the opponents.
heals + purge + nice ranged exectute is a pain in the *** when well played ^^

I never met teabaggers in BG but why not.

    Pretty much this.

I've encountered this attitude from many people, especially those who duel. Even though their HP was dropping just as much as mine and the fights were usually pretty even, for them not getting killed on their combo was for some reason noobish behavior, but when their HP was dropping to execute range they didn't even notice it (which in turn proves that they're pretty tanky too, because someone in full DPS build gets torn to shreds if they don't dodge my combo - when lined up buffs and debufs I have over 9k effective spell power - maybe its not top DPS range but when combined with high armor allows me to be very dangerous).

For me, someone who says I'm playing a too tanky character gets an ignore right away. My build is an optimized build that combines defensive, offensive and sustain aspects. I've been working on it for a long time and I don't care about the fact that I messed up some guy's live stream of how he does well in duels among unprepared players.

I guess the same attitude aplies to BG players.

Bagging was very common on PC NA up until recently. Now it's a bannable offense so nobody does it anymore.

Instead, you'll see players jumping on top of your corpse, strafing, and light attacking it.

It is not bannable, only if they "tell you to stop".

Battleground teabaggers? That exists? Over all these years I did play battlegrounds I've never ever seen someone doing that to anyone nor to myself.

Same until now lol. I assume gankers probably get it too? I dunno certain builds just annoy the hell out of people. But it's funny cuz run of the mill sorcerer's have always annoyed me the most because of streak, it seems like the single best utility skill in the game by a pretty wide margin.

As someone who plays magplar every once in a while I agree 100%. It's a class that is overpowered in every almost situation. They have amazing group utility with the amount of healing they have. One press of a button and they can save teammates from the brink of death, top up their health, purge, etc. And with a ranged exectute it's easy for them to hang back from the brunt of the action, heal their teammates, and then execute those low on health without really have to engage in combat that much.

Not only that, but they are also one of (if not the) best 1v1 class. Because healing is connected to SD they can crank up the damage and get free high healing tool tips which makes it almost impossible for other players to take them down. I've been able to get 18-20k heals even though I'm built for damage. And because of their ability to maximize damage they can turn around and give you a few hard hitting smacks on top of their healing. Very annoying for others to fight you, so when they can actually kill you they will celebrate with a teabag.

I honestly thought there was less teabagging lately.

I rarely dislike someone's playstyle enough to be tempted to show my discontent after their demise, but if I am I found the /flipthebird emote to be a lot more entertaining. Or using bash a couple of times on the absolutely egregious people who send hate tells at me and I don't have a lot of time to type in chat.

I seen it a few times... I once slaughtered a guy who did it to someone from the other enemy team (I guess I became Karma). It's very rare though.

I get t-bagged alot when im on a ganker. When you fail you nearly always get bagged. Funnily enough most players dont realise it was only a fail because i didnt want to drop a 500 ulti balorgh on a solo player so i tried to gank them without ulti(its always close). If i dropped the 500 ulti it wouldnt even be a contest.

But i do accept and enjoy when i get bagged though its funny!

Agree temps have great healing skills, but that bit about spell damage is true for *every* class.

I don't care much for teabagging and teabaggers, I do try to civilize my teammates when they're being barbaric brutes who teabag.

But I still think that teabagging is a victor's right to brag.
On the other hand, when someone does the whole killing, and then some random dude out of nowhere teabags me, it's stolen valor.

If you're going to teabag, make sure it's because you earned the right, otherwise you just come out as a necro- (and not the type that ends with 'mancer') lol.

I really don't get why someone's character squatting over your dead character is such a thing of importance that people have conversations over it
