Make a grouping tool for cyrodiil

For years, we ask to players to type LFG on zone chat in order to make groups.

PVE has group tool finder to do dungeons, pvp has it for battlegrounds.
Why not pvp in cyrodiil ?
We have an addon for auto-inviting people but many dont even know what "lfg" means and dont speak english, they don't understand how to play together.

As a MMO, ESO needs a grouping tool for the pvp zone.

Would be great. And group tool for trials, please. At least something similar to WoW, where you can as a group leader create sort of a public announce, I don't know how to describe it exactly. And then people can apply to join your group, and you can decide to invite them or not.

The ability to search for an Alliance War group using the Activity Finder was removed in Update 25 due to lack of use.

it never worked in cyrodiil

for whom? 90% of time Cyrodiil will barely have one group. only during the event it would be useful

functionality is expensive to build and expensive to maintain. It is not profitable if 10 people will use it

It was an original group finder / creator, but it was to complex and none used it, it was removed long ago, think with the current group finder.

One thing with pug groups in Cyro is that it helps a lot to have a crown who knows what they're doing and are the undisputed leader that everyone follows. If you pug 12 players together and one of them randomly gets the crown, that group will most likely be less organized and successful than the LFG groups that you see in Cyro now.

Others have already mentioned that you could group via the group finder for Cyro before, it was removed for reasons. It didn't work, I seem to recall it was exploited too but not 100% sure on that one.

i think part of the problem with the old group finder method was that it also required you to BE in cyrodiil when you queued for it, but it was just infinitely easier to just shout LFG in zone or there was a group looking for fills and was like "press x to join group" for an autoinvite

if you could use it to queue for a cyro group and go into cyro at the same time, it might have been much more useful, but i think the reason it was like that was cause there were multiple cyro camps to pick from unless they added that as an option for that queue

cyrodiil has a capacity for players and this capacity is very small

if you want to be in Cyro, you must be in Cyro, otherwise you might not get into the cap

i was suggesting that for a group queue tool to be useful for cyro, it would have to be useable outside of cyro and then commented that would be difficult/impossible because of the fact there are multiple cyro campaigns so you would have to queue for one of those too
