A lot of PVP guilds suspend invites during MM (or WM now), which I always found silly, since it might actually attract new PVP enthusiasts. So here's the deal. I'll be on with my usual cohorts pretty much every evening, and we usually have room (and patience) for noobs. DM @furiouslog in game referencing this post, and if I'm on and in IC or Cyrodiil, I'll invite you to our guild's discord and try to hook you up - you won't need to join the guild or anything unless you want to. I also run auto invite strings constantly, usually TAP or FLOG - if you hop in and type that in zone and we are there and have a space, you'll join the group. We run all three factions, but we do DC most of the time. I'm on PC-NA.
Try to bring Pariah or something if you don't want to die a whole lot. Hope to see you out there.

The sentiment seems fine but your use of language could equally be described as demeaning to some, especially considering your response to the person who tried to help you out.... "duh!"

Eh, pretty sure @furiouslog was using that "duh" at himself for failing to think that he needed to add platform and server. At least, that's what I use it for when I've done something dumb I failed to notice, and someone tells me about it!

✭✭Hey, last night in IC (Legion Zero) we grouped with two new players who'd never PVP'd before, and now they are hooked. We had a lot of pugs in group too, and everyone had a blast! We killed and got killed, and we made probably about 40K tel var on top of getting a load of loot and dailies done. We'll be in again tonight, hit me up if interested. We'll probably mix it up by alternating some Cyro and IC. We run no-CP, so don't worry if you are lower level, as long as you are 50 and have okay gear and skills unlocked, it's all good.
Also thanks to the folks who sent me in game email with some war tortes to hand out. Very cool of you.0 -
Mythgard1967✭✭✭✭✭This is super cool and nice. I actually enjoy PVP and never have anyone to run with unless I stumble across a group (I am really bad it at but I have fun and I try not to be a nuisance).
I will say that one of those fun groups I stumbled across was one of yours. I joined your group and had a blast. I even joined discord and listened.

They suspend it during the event, not all the time. I get why - they have had people join just for the event and then bail. It's a learned behavior.0
