Alliance Standard Bearers Emblems not dropping?

My understanding is that we are to get one of these/day in our reward boxes. Today is the second day I did not get an emblem. Are these bugged and not dropping then? There are three items in the holiday vendor that can only be purchased with this currency.

They are supposed to drop during MYM events, and I'm pretty sure that's what this is even though they changed the name of the event slightly. At any rate, the only time the vendor that excepts this currency is available is during this event.

RisenEclipse✭✭✭✭✭I know it's MYM lol I am just saying that in the news thread about it: https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/61615 there is no mention of emblems dropping at all in this PARTICULAR MYM. So they might not be adding those to the event anymore and you might just have to get them from the vendor. There is a container you can purchase that contains old items that dont drop from the event anymore.0

Not according to the description, and I can not purchase that item because the game tells me I already have every item possible that would come in that container.
I'm pretty sure this is another screw up on ZOS's part. They gave us items that can only be purchased with a currency, then screwed up the drop for that currency so we can't get it.1 -

No, they dropped during a previous event. The vendor is there so you can use the old ones. Is it fair or not to have them not drop? Maybe. But it is clearly intentional, the same is true for Alliance Banner-Bearer's Emblem.
I do believe the resulting items are in the grab bag if you prefer to spend tickets instead of gold.

RisenEclipse✭✭✭✭✭Well I just bought a couple of the grab bags and I can tell you that I just got the Style Page: Pact Banner-Bearer Shield. Not the tokens, but the full outfit.

If you've collected all the other stuff in the grab bags, possibly, depending on how you value tickets. Idea: Make sure you check that grab bag on characters in alliances you didn't get the collectibles on, since they're specific for the alliance of the character who purchases the collectibles from the merchant.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!2 -

Interesting. Then, if the OP said they can't buy the grab bag because everything available in it is already owned, does it mean they already own the collectibles for all 3 alliances?
Also, there's an IC event which is separate from the WM/MYM event. Did it have any event items which weren't in WM/MYM?I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

✭It seems some posting in this thread need some clarification.
I'm talking about the vendor named Predicant Maera. She's the event vendor that wears the wolf head and the red dress. She's who you get your pelinel scroll from. She sells three items that can only be purchased with AP, and need to be combined with 10 Alliance Standard Bearers Emblems, a special event specific currency. That currency is not dropping during the event, which is the only time these items can be purchased.
The three items she sells are:
1- Alliance Banner Bearers Certificate, when combined with 10 Alliance Standard Bearers Emblems, creates the Banner Bearers Shield
2- Alliance Banner Bearers Endorsement, which creates the Banner Bearers Staff when combined with 10 emblems
3- Alliance Banner Bearers License, which creates an emote when combined with 10 emblems
These emblems are not dropping during this event, and they do not drop any other time. If you can't find emblems to buy in guild stores left over from previous events, you can't get them.Edited by EdmondDontes on February 18, 2022 5:10PM0 -

That's right. Predicant Mara only sells those items so that those who still have the emblems from the event where they did drop, or buy them on guild traders, can use them. The emblems no longer drop, this is not a bug. It is how it has worked in the past. The items you can get with the emblems, however, can be gotten (bound) from the grab bag if you don't already have them.

RisenEclipse✭✭✭✭✭Because you can get the full item (no emblems needed) from the grab bag, the emblems are not needed anymore. But those that still have the emblems from past events can use them to combine them at the vendor. The emblems are not dropping anymore. You can only combine what is floating around in the game. Or get the full item from the grab bags.0
